Most of what we harvest gets eaten as it comes in the door. So many people are happy to eat it fresh. 😁

Why are you taking only the seed heads of the flowers for seed? I recently harvested 50 lbs of potatoes. My guess is 65lbs😊
@LargeFamilyHomesteadКүн бұрын
We use the flowers for salads and to dry for tinctures or tea. Your guess is just about right! ♥

Tell me more about the marigolds. New gardener here. Thanks.
@otdawgoКүн бұрын
@Saywhatnow10710 I too would like to know. I also am a new gardener but I do have marigolds in my bed
@LargeFamilyHomesteadКүн бұрын
@saywhatnow10710 @otdawgo Marigolds repel pests and attract pollinators making them super important to the garden. They are also edible, so we like to put them in our salads for added color. ♥

AND I AM TIRED OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR GARDEN BEING SO FAR AWAY FROM THE HOUSE, IT WOULD BE A LOT FARTHER TO GO TO THE STORE IF YOU HAD TO AND THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO WOULD JUST LOVE TO HAVE A GARDEN.

We certainly weren't complaining - it was meant as a joke. ♥
