What an amazing renovation! I'm about to embark on a similar journey nearby, in Avoca Beach :) It looks like you square set the bathrooms, but used cornice in the open areas and bedrooms. I'm surprised you didn't also square set areas like the living room, kitchen and hallways - can I ask why you chose to use cornice in these areas?

integrating a fridge means creating a deeper joinery and it works well in larger kitchens - that's why our fridge had to be beautiufl to look at :)

Congratulations to you both on all your hard work, what an amazing result! My partner and I are about to embark on our own renovation in Lake Macquarie next year and these incredibly well made videos have given us so many ideas and inspiration. Especially loved your attempts at fighting against the building industries notorious "throw away" culture whenever you could. Best of luck for your future projects!

Love the house but think the front garden is too segregated and too fussy. less is more with PS design. One front wall without the returns up the sides of the drives, two gates would have been easier on the eye. I wonder what it looks like from the road at the rear of the property?

Thankyou for your comment. The continuous wall at the front was meant to protect the plunge pool area, which didn't happen for various reasons, the gates too will be added - stay tuned :)
