The mount points are 21 inches apart? What about distance from the corner of the van wall for where l trac goes? Is it 12 inches deep on roof side and 13 inches down on wall side? This is what your companies yt video says?
@AdventureWagon5 күн бұрын
Hi there! The distance from the corner to the track is 12" on the ceiling and 13.5" on the wall. There are some dims in the images of the product page at adventurewagon.com: adventurewagon.com/products/mule-bag-2-0

Excellent and timely video. Thank you! I have and am installing your adventure wagon kit in my 2019 Transit. I also already have the same espar heating unit (you did not have them when I bought my kit). I am planning on installing under the passenger seat as well (very tight install). I don't have the mounting plate and gasket you show. Could I buy them from you? Again, I want to give you kudos for presenting another excellent video!

@masalser15 күн бұрын
@@bmxguy does anybody understand why the aux fuel port doesn't work well? Is it that it somehow losses its prime because of larger diameter than the thin standpipe? I'm just curious whether there is a link somewhere that talks about this.

Can I use these dividers in my existing Mule bags?
@AdventureWagon2 ай бұрын
Hi there! Because the shape and size of the original and 2.0 Mule Bags are similar, the cubbies fit in either bag. However, the Mule Bag 2.0 has Velcro sewn into the top and bottom of the interior, which is meant to secure the Cubbies in place and keep them from shifting. The vertical divider will not work without Velcro. If you'd like to use the Storage Cubbies with the original Mule Bag, we suggest purchasing Velcro with adhesive backing and applying it to the inside of your Mule Bag. This will not have the longevity of sewn in Velcro, but it will allow the Storage Cubbies to work as intended. If you're just planning to set the storage cubbies along the bottom of the bag and not use the center divider, Velcro may not be necessary.

Hi! If you go to "build your van" on our homepage, that is the process for purchasing the kit. You choose your materials and colors, accessories such as bed, overhead storage, etc. and place your deposit. We do not sell just the A-frame on its own, it's part of the compete kit. Hope this helps!

this doesn't show much of anything. What's the order of numbering is there any logic to it? why not include a photo of a wall with a key to where the pieces go. "Driver low bay" isn't saying anything to a non-native English speaker doing this for the first time. Everything is labelled "low bay" with shapes that don't seem to correspond to anything I see in a van.

Any way to access the contents of the boxes within the van to avoid inclement weather or a dangerous situation outside?
@AdventureWagon8 ай бұрын
It really depends on the height and size of the bed you're using. While the tray does not slide both ways, when stored it sits 60+" into the back of the van. So the rear boxes should be accessible assuming you have a few inches between the top of the box and the bottom of your bed. If planning to access gear from the inside, we would recommend storing the smaller boxes (49L) in the rear of the tray because they're easier to remove from the tray under the bed, and usually it's the smaller items you need access to when inside the van.

The Boxes are cool. Curious what width Radio wave tray you use the narrow or wide. my setup would use the tray for bicycles and or the Ox boxes. Mainly a smartfloor question for attachment to the LTrack points. And I imagine once you set the width you probably aren't going to change the width up and down. unless its really quick.
@AdventureWagon8 ай бұрын
Hi Mark! The Wave Tray in the video is set to nearly its widest point. We simply measured the distance between the L-tracks and matched the width of the Wave tray so it would easily bolt into the track. Agreed that once you set the width, it's unlikely that you'd be frequently adjusting it as there are a lot of bolts, although for two people it only takes 30 minutes or so. However, taking the tray in and out of the van is quite simple, especially with two people.

Seems like a lot of time spent explaining how your interior system works and why you can't provide clear directions with the product when you could just indicate how many inches off the wall and ceiling the center of L Track needs to be placed and let us figure out our wall thickness. The ceiling location in relation to the factory holes was helpful.

Awesome video! A couple of notes after I installed my kit: 1. I did not do fan cutouts, so the orientation of the small center brackets on my 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th brackets was not obvious. It may have been called out in the video but I ended up referring to 9:18 in order to figure out orientation. 2. My kit only had 2 strut holders, so I wasn't able to mount both of my ceiling struts reliably. I ended up mounting my drivers side first and basing it off of the ceiling-level L-track wall bracers to ensure that was parallel, and then did my passenger side and ensured parallelism between the drivers and passenger strut. 3. I bought the Astro Pneumatic PR14 air riveter, and even at 120 PSI it required 2 cycles per 1/4" rivet in order to pop them. I found that I could only get 2 rivets set (4 total cycles), and then I needed to cycle my compressor to get it back up to 120 PSI.

Love the product but a woefully out of date video (lots of changes) and there is no 144 version of this. e.g. My ceiling rail has CS1, CS2, and a single CS3. Time to make a new video. Would suggest Hailey do them.

This video is so much better (easier, clearer) than the other. I would suggest deleting the old one as I did not know this one existed until I saw that my A-Frame did not match the one in the old video (no lower key legs on the corners)
