A-Frame Ceiling Bracer Installation - Sprinter 144

Hailey walks us through the installation process for our ceiling bracers aka speedstruts in the Mercedes Sprinter high 144 high roof.
Our A-frame ceiling bracers are made of powder-coated steel and are riveted into the frame of the van, reinforcing the metal in the van for excellent pull-out strength. The L-track then bolts straight into the rivet nuts (rivnuts) to create our signature versatility. With its ultra-durable orange powder coating, the A-frame won’t rust, and of course, will not swell or rot. These factors virtually eliminate squeaking and rattling and ensure the structural integrity of your van for the long haul.

Awesome video! A couple of notes after I installed my kit: 1. I did not do fan cutouts, so the orientation of the small center brackets on my 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th brackets was not obvious. It may have been called out in the video but I ended up referring to 9:18 in order to figure out orientation. 2. My kit only had 2 strut holders, so I wasn't able to mount both of my ceiling struts reliably. I ended up mounting my drivers side first and basing it off of the ceiling-level L-track wall bracers to ensure that was parallel, and then did my passenger side and ensured parallelism between the drivers and passenger strut. 3. I bought the Astro Pneumatic PR14 air riveter, and even at 120 PSI it required 2 cycles per 1/4" rivet in order to pop them. I found that I could only get 2 rivets set (4 total cycles), and then I needed to cycle my compressor to get it back up to 120 PSI.
