At 50 years of age, I’ve been reminiscing about my great childhood… all of the movies, music and my fascination with ninjas! I watched all of the movies and used to run around my neighborhood at night dressed in black. I’d literally climb on my neighbor’s roofs and in their trees…. try doing that these days! Anyhow, I just ordered the Kouga Ninjato from KOA. I put my name on the waitlist about a month ago and got the notification Wednesday that it was back in stock. I kicked around the idea because I literally just bought a Cold Steel Warrior Wakizashi earlier this week. I went ahead and ordered it and sure enough, a few hours later it was out of stock again. Glad it decided to get it and I’m excited to get it in hand!

I’m with you my friend. I did the same thing back in the day…well not on rooftops at least I don’t remember. Always had stars on me. Good times. I waited a long time for the Kouga to come back in stock when I got it. I jumped on it and I’m glad I did. My inner 12 year old is really happy. How do you like the Warrior Wakizashi? I have the Dragonfly Tanto. I’ve been debating getting a Dragonfly Katana. Thanks for sharing and watching!

@@poppypicker3863 Good memories for sure, my friend! I like the Wakizashi… I’m not an expert by any means but it definitely is a solid piece. I got it for $268 shipped so it wasn’t a bad deal at all. Haven’t cut anything yet. My only other sword is a katana that I bought years ago from Longquan(sp?) It’s no where near as robust as the Cold Steel. Looking forward to adding a few more Ninjato to my collection. Can you recommend any quality ones? Are the Sho Kosugi Ninjatos any good?
@poppypicker38632 ай бұрын
@@redeemed2517 I’ve never had any experience with the Sho Kosugi ones. I know there’s different levels of quality with them. Pretty sure Freestyle Swordsman channel has some good info on them. The only other Ninjato I have is a pretty cheap one, the dragon Ninjato. That being said you can’t go wrong with the Hanwei ones. I’ve thought about getting the Iga model. There’s probably lots of options I’m not familiar with. I’m sure some KZbin research will help. Anything I can do to help,let me know!
