The climate change hoax is just a front for communism, there is no crisis or emergency of any sort concerning the planet, just a group of perfidious liars and useful idiots who can't think on their own.

my RUDE neighbor just planted this right at the fence line, so the battle is on to not let it take hold. If it's over or through the fence I'm chopping it. Already broke a shovel trying to dig it up. Doing the chop and poison method now.

We cut the stalks and immediately put diesel on the top of the freshly cut stalks. It turns the stalk into mush where they can’t grow any longer. Now I’m not talking about going crazy with the diesel, just enough to coat the top of the stalk.

I think you killed the stalks but not the roots. In a few months update if new shoots developed off the roots or not. I did the same things with roundup. The black plastic kills the roots.

Simply leave it alone . If it's wood or a aftermarket gas tube with the heat shield.

I’m by no means an expert here but have just paid hundreds of dollars to have a rather large to medium size stand of the clumping bamboo cut down. Had consulted the IFAS and the local extension office and was yold that my next phase is to scrape the roots. Then the next step is the application of boiling water to rhizomes that are showing and sign of life remaining. Wish me luck. 🍀 Plus am now intending on purchasing the thicker ml. plastic to suffocate the roots with. Thanks for the input. This is the kind of problem that makes one feel like village idiot for somehow allowing to get out of hand.

Bamboo is the devils plant. Spend whatever it costs to have an excavator dig it out and haul it off. Roots and all or you and future generations will all suffer from this unstoppable plant that will take over your property. You have several options: 1. Dig it out with an excavator. The remaining small shoots that pop up over the next year can be snuffed out with the cutting and herbicide method shown in this video to finally eliminate it. 2. Cut it off flush to the ground, haul off the cuttings, and then cover the base with a thick tarp. Cover tarp with dirt or mulch to hold it down and it will suffocate the colony. The remaining shoots that pop up randomly can be easily managed with the method shown in the video.

Never use roundup or any chemicals to kill bamboo or weeds. You're poisoning your land and land for future tenants. Doing so is extremely selfish.

I heard dry ice will kill it. Also read online that it will. That’s my next plan. Cut it to the ground and using tongs, I’ll place little pieces on it…coming soon when I have more energy and less pain…bamboo, I’m comin for ya 😅
