I'm on my 5th MX-5. None of which have ever disobeyed me. A '16, '17, '19' and another '23 due to the 1st '23 was totaled with only approximately 23K miles on it. I trade when the mileage gets around 80k miles. Synthetic oils are changed every 7K and the transmission oil at 60K miles.

Maybe 3 years ago this could have been true, but RS7 starts at almost $30k more and M850i is similar in 0-60. That's why I bought it over the RS7. At that price point I would have gone M8 CS

I bought a new Mustang 2.3 18:20 Ecoboost 10-speed auto convertible in 2019, after renting one for a two week touring holiday with my wife in New England. Every morning we would open up the roof, put on our Ray-Bans, get Steely Dan on the stereo and aim for the next town along the coast. Taking in the scenery with my elbow on the door and the aircon chilling the seat was such a cool way to travel, and with a 55mph speed limit there was no point in rushing, not that I wanted to. When I came home, I made straight for my local Ford Dealer, and I’ve never regretted it. So do these track comparisons mean anything to me? Do I need to shave a second off my quarter-mile? Would there have been any point in paying extra for Magnaride? Sorry, no. If you want the convertible, and like me you will be driving in the real world, the Ecoboost is all the car you need. IMHO, of course!

Would be nice if they got people that know how to drive for this. The G70 can't hold a candle to the GT in straight line speed. GT is a 12.0 car while the G70 is a 13.1 car. That's an eternity in drag racing. But you can't launch the Mustang from idle like this. It needs a 4k+ rpm launch compared to G70 where torque kicks in low with the turbos. Wet conditions aside, this is a very flawed video that doesn't really show anything

Mustang has 100 more HP and is lighter, it's clearly the faster car with a proper driver and when it's dry. HP is a deficit on wet pavement. You can see several times in the video how hard it starts pulling on the G70 once the spinning has stopped. That said, the G70 is definitely a very nice and quick DD, I'll be purchasing one soon.

So the baby f type pretty much keeps up with the lc500, try it with a 5 litre F type R or SVR, bye bye toyota.
