Hahahha. The ending was brilliant. A bit of Darude for amusement. Well played. At least it wasn't Rick Astley!

This was my first record player (the BSR part) it was in a Bulova transistorized set and had a detachable speaker and a built in speaker. It was stereo.

In the engineering world, you'll find both terms are often used interchangeably....especially with boats... you won't find a soul that talks about the new outboard engine they purchased for their boat, they purchased an outboard motor.....

There needs to be some flux on your joints before you solder, It makes the solder flow and ball up instead of creating those spikes as the iron is pulled away. Even regular hardware store plumbing solder would make soldering much more enjoyable.

My heart is sad and it ackes because unfortunately racism still exists today. At the same time I have this unyielding pride for Tuskegee airmen achievements even under those extreme conditions. Perhaps one day people will forget racism, but remember the memories of their patriotism and right to fight for their cause in two fronts.

How sad to see so many ignorant immoral fools mutilating large portions of their body with tattoos and piercings, thus marrying the image of God they were created in. These are not leaders of moral character, but pathetic followers of the latest perverted fads.

Sadly my model train kit is gone forever, as expected, my interest shifted towards computers, all of it slowly perished who knows where. Would have been nice to hold on to it, belongs with some of my dearest memories. Well, that happened, c'est la vie. Lately I discovered the world of massive model train layout FPV videos on KZbin. Always a childhood dream, way too ridiculous to even consider building one myself, especially now that I understand the immense amount of effort that goes into them. Still, I find these clips among the best content for falling asleep. There are some true gems out there.

Music going mobile was first and foremost the car radio, at least here is the US. I had a clock radio, then a transistor radio and finally a record player that could have been portable, but the car radio was the big thing listening to the jocks and what new recording was coming out. THEN you bought the record and later the tape, etc. I have done these players and I didn't see the keepers that prevented the turntable from dislodging when carried by the handle on the side. Oh well, it's bloody good entertainment. Well done.

It takes 5 other people (that I could see in the footage at 2:10) as well as James May to film this footage.. Whereas us other KZbinrs usually are a one-person production.... lol As a model train enthusiast here in Melbourne Australia and a KZbinr I create videos featuring my model trains and how I repair them, also using the remagnitiser when needed. James and I and many other KZbinrs are reinventing the model train hobby and people are now getting back into the fun and enjoyment of model trains in all scales. I love how James explains things in layman's terms but it is also correct in what he states, I always enjoy watching his videos.
