You can still get a good finish with this if you enable z hop. It just lifts the nozzle a bit when moving karge distances

I have an error, could anyone please help me? I've reviewed the steps and repited them twice. Only difference: My printer is Ender 3 V1, not Ender 3 Pro or V2, I have not installed on printer yet, but I have this error, when I launch code on Build Error: Build environment 'STM32F103RET6_creality' is incompatible with BOARD_CREALITY_V4. Use one of these: STM32F103RE_creality, STM32F103RE_creality_xfer, STM32F103RC_creality, STM32F103RC_creality_xfer, STM32F103RE_creality_maple

I had this as well, seems Creality dropped the original environment name so it's no longer supported. I changed mine to STM32F103RE_creality for the Ender 3 Pro which worked perfectly.

I ripped off your settings just to see what would happen and my print came out perfect. 8mm 15mm/s 220 degrees and 250 travel. Thank you! 8 is way higher than I would have thought.

yes, because the V2 mainboard is having the same STM32 so i think but ihm not shure because i dont have an Ender 3 v2

Need benchy help! I can see the deck line on my benchy! I am using a .6 nozzle with 3 walls, reduced infill overlap to .01, was .075 (10%), and am printing walls before infill. The only fix I have found is to print outside wall first but I feel I’m missing something? Any advice?

Return to original firmware and is ok now however M600 is not working yet. What can I do? Tried again but was just blipping so put the original....

@@urielgaytan1665 When you update your firmware, you also have to flash the screen as well. It is located with the dwinset. Both the printer and screen get flashed separately. You have to pull your screen apart to find the sd card slot on it's board.

I've got the firmware going, whenever I resume from pause the new layers print way too high so the new colour doesn't adhere properly. It's like a layer gets skipped or something, I don't know how to rectify this.

@@flaviosantana4671 Unfortunately I never worked it out. My best guess is that the head gets nudged upwards while I'm changing the filament, but even if I'm really careful it only works about 1/3 of the time. I just gave up in the end, sorry.

Hello! To put your glass bed did you peel the bed coating that clinches with the magnet top, or just replaced the magnet top with the glass? I bought a glass bed but not sure how to set it up, I’d just replacing the magnet bed, or also peeling the counterpart (if yours is a 3pro too).

I just put a piece of paper between the magnet and the glass bed. It prevent your magnet to stick with the glass. And it's easy whenever you want to switch back to magnetic bed :D

The best way to avoid these scratches is to adjust your flow to prevent them. Over extrusion is what causes it.

Might be true for you, but for me I had different result. I had adjust my flow and e-step but it still happen. When I look back at the CURA preview mode, it shows the same pattern (blue line) as I mentioned in the video.

@@queenbee3d997 I agree with you. I was having this same issue and your video really helped me to understand what was causing it. It was DEFINITELY the print head scratching across my model on the top layer. Cheers!
