You can still get a good finish with this if you enable z hop. It just lifts the nozzle a bit when moving karge distances

The best way to avoid these scratches is to adjust your flow to prevent them. Over extrusion is what causes it.

Might be true for you, but for me I had different result. I had adjust my flow and e-step but it still happen. When I look back at the CURA preview mode, it shows the same pattern (blue line) as I mentioned in the video.

@@queenbee3d997 I agree with you. I was having this same issue and your video really helped me to understand what was causing it. It was DEFINITELY the print head scratching across my model on the top layer. Cheers!
