@@Reyalsnogard42 A day and a half of my life that I'll never get back...

Good news! Ebay decided in my favor, and are forcing the seller to accept the return. If you try to buy a DICE, be wary of this other unit disguised as one.

What size tires are you running?
@JoelKalich2 күн бұрын
Great question! In this video, just the stock size. In the future I got some 225/70R16 KO2s. They're definitely as big as I'd go, under suspension extension they rub a little bit in the rear, just on plastics though.
@heiszerton2 күн бұрын
@@JoelKalich Sweet, those probably look great. Where in the wheel well are u seeing rubbing, forward, top or back?
@JoelKalich2 күн бұрын
@@heiszerton No probably about it haha, they look and work great. In this video I put them and the lift to the test! kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2S2aI2LqZaUf5o They're rubbing on the front, for some reason the wheels aren't centered in the wheel well of these cars.

I think you need to get a GoPro and mount it on top of the roof, would like to see more of the journey that way while you edit in your commentary while driving. I like the drone shots as well, and because you used them sparingly, it was a nice touch, you can pan back to the view inside the cab, but i feel like it would add a nice touch to the video. Also, when showing the map, instead of having it full screened, maybe have it either half or 1/3rd screen while drone shooting in the direction of where you’re going into the next waypoint. Just my thoughts. Overall, I enjoyed the video, I find your voice good for commentaries, so I’m not trying to rag, just giving some feedback. Anyways, thanks for the content!
@JoelKalich11 күн бұрын
@@americantacolord Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, hindsight 20/20, I probably should've had my time-lapse camera running the entire time, I did use it during the first night on the drive down to Oregon. I'll try to improve the map edits, this was the first video I'd ever tried that on, and wow was it time consuming lol. Again, thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching!

@SilentDecode2 ай бұрын
I assume you printed it with 100% infill? Might actually want to do this too, if I ever get a XC70. And for longevety reasons, you might want to print that in Nylon. Because PETG isn't really strong enough in the long term.
@JoelKalich2 ай бұрын
Yeah, I probably should have looked into nylon, I know others have printed them in that. I used 90% infill, 15 walls, 20 top/bottom layers, and 0.65mm extrusion width. The amount of walls/top/bottom layers meant the tophat spacer was nearly solid and the coil spacer was solid. The designer of the parts has suggested minimums.
@SilentDecodeАй бұрын
@@JoelKalich Still, Nylon is a lot stronger for such forces. If you ever have issues, see if you can print them in nylon. This way it's much stronger and probably will last a bit longer.

It sounds stupid, but stick your lips on the sensors, you should feel the ones that are working are pulsing, you can also just use your fingers, but the lips works better :), easy way to diagnose a non working sensor, it's another thing if it's just not reading the correct distant, then you need a scantool to see which sensor is bad.
@JoelKalich3 ай бұрын
Holy crap, that's genius. I'll try it tonight. I did already order more sensors, so the money is already spent, but I wanna see if this works.
