Guy - just bought No. 18. In the unlikely event of a spill, I assume I can come back to you for the bespoke bodywork bits??

Hi guy having the same problem with my 200 sooting plugs low revs tried a Chinese carb not much better back to original carb lots of adjustments and finally running not to bad think new silences will make a difference as one is rattling, thanks for a great channel, terry ,

I like it, and agree with all your design decisions. Would it look better without the tool roll on the forks?

Great job on this! Really nice to see I’m not the only one who’s already thinking about mods 😂 agreed that your mudguard shortening + offset makes it look more like a motorcycle and less like a bike. I’ve been staring at the rear mudguard thinking about what I can change on the RM1S. Have you ever thought about mounting the license plate on the side to have a very clean and minimalist rear?

Guy, I have to say, you have turned what I consider yo be a fairly unattractive bike into a beauty!

Watching, I think it was Shed & Buried, Classic Cars, when I saw what looked like a small Honda dressed in a full fairing. So I came looking for it & found this. Great to see this lovely classic bike being cared for.

If it’s electron ignition, it is a 1979 roadster. Very rare bike I have one Why did you put points on that bike? I believe your bike has been made to runoff electronic ignition. Does your frame number match your motor number? To be a true 79 frame and the motor had the same numbers. You can buy the electronic ignition for that here in the US They’re not very expensive and you don’t have to mess with points Did it come with points?

Very nice job there Guy. I think the standard shocks would be about 14", so yours are slammed. It's great fun making stuff for your bike. 👍

Hi Guy, Harley's are not my thing at all, but that's ok, you like them. I did however like your informal chat about your lovely bike and all the things that you have done to make it yours. Very enjoyable, thank you. Take care Mate.👍

My CD200 timing is also right at one end of the slotted holes, in fact I had to file them out a little, I have put this down to aftermarket points being of slightly different proportions to the original.

Simple carb but they are abit of a faff to assemble with the spring tension needing to be held. I bought a new one; mainly as I suspected my floats were porous, was about £22 (including a spark plug & pod filter!) and has the Keihin name on it (🤔!) Still seems to have high tickover issues after several fettles but mainly when cold so sort of acts like an auto choke!

I have had Benleys for years. I did 160000 miles on one, 66000 on another and the one i am putting back on the road after getting it historical, has only done 50000. Carburettor problems with is leaking fuel from the overflow. Any suggestions. You should be proud of your Benly as lt has been garaged most of its life by the look of things. Clean as a whistle. Mine not so.

Hi Guy. I absolutely loved my Honda CB200, fantastic back and forwards to work, also Lived in Hertfordshire but used to travel down to see family in Cornwall. Then moved onto a Honda CB650 V with shaft driven and LED readout! 🎉🎉 beautiful bike indeed! Cheers. 😊

Would it be possible to swap for a bench seat? This frame likely can’t support for sitting at the back of the bench but I’m curious what this bike with a bench would look like.
