Anyone knows which metal titanium - strong from bend, snap? As in my experience one key bended, another snapped. Tiny 2mm metal from the key left in cylinder - unable to remove at all, all pick tool does not go in, only need it does but bend hook on the need it wont go in

These Chinese locks are great confidence builders. Well done. I have made some of my own DD picks and completely understand your frustration with pick alignment. My rear pick design takes a lot of that away.
@gprider15252 ай бұрын
You made that look easy, I'm assuming these would be a good start for a dd noobie?
@Myloks2 ай бұрын
@gprider1525 These are absolutely great for beginners. If you get one that's front tensioning, the feedback is good, and it should be a pretty straightforward pick, way nicer than the chinesium ones. With some parksides, you'll need to transfer tension to a zero cut disc and counter rotate the front disc to get the open. (Rear tensioning) I bought a couple and was lucky to get one of each. Cheers bud 👍

These American SFIC padlocks are hands down the best you can get. Why the hell didn't they send a control key?
@Myloks3 ай бұрын
American Locks and especially sfic locks aren't too common in the UK, so I'm guessing a previous owner didn't realise how important the control key was and misplaced it. Some people are just really careless with keys 🤷🏻♂️😆

Nice! Nice to see you raking to find the binders, and the twist to get around the keyway. What pick is that? It looks like a long reach. I was using that for the back pins and a #7 for the front. In a moment of clear brain failure I ordered 10 of these as practice locks because they're cheap and we use them at work.... then I found out I can't even come close to picking them. A week later the best I've managed is to get slight core rotation. On the up side, they're small and light so I can carry my sorrows in my pocket.

I've had this happen to me several times and then some. I ended up in one of those situations where my car and the other wally had to inch our way past each other. Only for me to find 10 seconds later that he had passed a passing point. So frustrating. Lovely views Mylok. Missing you sir 😶

This is a gorgeous location. A beautiful drive until you need to save the car or your lives because a car doesn't do the courteous thing and use the pull in spots for passing another car. Though I find it interesting that there are pull in spots on a road like this as similar roads in Australia are just every car for themselves and both cars trying to keep their tires mostly on the road to avoid the hazards. The difficult thing is when trucks use the road as well and there is nowhere to go but off the side. It would be good if the road builders here had the foresight to build pull in places on our roads. Good to see you again mate. Hope you are able to come back picking soon, cheers
@Myloks6 ай бұрын
Wow.. I can't believe anyone would build narrow roads without allowing for regular passing places 🤯... Mind you, they only work when people actually use them 😆 Cheers PW 👍🍻
