It's probably been over a decade since we've had as heavy a snowfall as this. The warm Gulf Stream currents usually keep us more mild on the West Coast. Glad I've still got some holidays to take 😆 All the best Mick Cheers bud 👍 🍻

That was this morning, there's parts of the garden under a foot of snow now 😆 Bear Scotland and the council gritters are a bit overwhelmed, I think.

I used to have a subaru legacy, but my current car is an old Skoda Superb estate.. I've not got winter tyres on it either. I was losing traction a fair bit on rhe way back 😬.. and had to walk the last 50 yards with the shopping because the car wouldn't make it up the hill to the house. 🤣 I'm not going to bother going anywhere tomorrow. It does look nice, but it is stressful to drive in. I cheaped out on my tyres this year, which made it even worse.. 🤣 I was quite lucky to get home as a lorry jacknifed, blocking the road just after I made it home... there were a few heart stopping moments on the way home where I thought I was going to get stuck. @@Myloks wow that is a stressful drive for sure. I guess tires would be everything in conditions like this. Glad you got home safely. It looks like it wouldn't take much to end up in a nasty situation on the road. I just had to buy new tires two days ago, I pushed the old ones to over their limit as they are just so expensive to buy, I just kept putting it off, until I had no choice. it was to the point of pump up tires each day and maybe come out to a flat tire one morning. I found that created stress and I could only do that for two weeks before I caved and brought the tires. This time of year all the bills come in so having to add tires to that list has made for some juggling.
