The Police Academy tests need to be less difficult and less focused on mathematics and algebra. They should emphasize fitness, English, and knowledge of the law. All my friends tamariki failed due to unable to pass the mathematics and algebra part.

It would be good if front line and investigating staff were educated on this, so they could be helpful when protecting the public. But I guess it doesn't matter now, confidence is low as it societies mentality.
