If only the Police in all our towns & cities still walked the beat. Yes a lovely place to live & of a time gone by.

Wow, I'm looking forward to seeing the police walking around the main street, on their way to get their lunch. The couple of times I go to 'town', I seem to miss them. I wonder what the locals will think of this video.

I was a frequent visitor to Waimate back in the day - couldn’t drive through the area without stopping at the Savoy tearooms for a cornish pastie! 😋

and now we have a park, where the Savoy tearooms used to be......after the fire at the Savoy.

my sister recently entered the police college and she will be based in Christchurch, and it took her only half a year after her interview to get in. Ask your handler about Christchurch/Canterbury, once you have applied.

I'm just being paranoid again but if something happens to me or my family, church nearby + surname that rhymes with Coffee (1 of the brothers kept rubbing my thigh at youth group), and the Filipino twins (bouncers now, Ferndale road, we use to live there *BUT very small chance/reason* for them to harass us (e.g 2 burglars as wide as 2-3 barrels tried to break in quietly) because the last time we met we had a fight that turned fun and we split ways content enough but never played again, also childhood/teen years). Edit: I typed the info indirectly so to not detail exact people here (not get into trouble for defamation) because I think all our media is hacked or internet provider playing god with me + all the info I already sent to police

Less crime because Waimate probably has one of the lowest percentages of Maori living there in the country..
