AskSaveonquit is a setting in replay section. No need for ini tweak. Or it is next to replay spooling in miscellaneous

hubs are the future for sure they just need to design some kind of quick release for the rims if youre buying a hub its cause you want to save money on wheels, but if thats the argument/logic and every time you want to swap rims you have to unscrew the rim and screw in the new one ill save up for separate wheels

🍌hell yeah man, gran turismo was my start as well, didn't get my first wheel until about a year ago and I'm an addict. Now i have full rig, DD wheel. I agree, research and probably spend more on your first wheel, i start with G923 and two months later got a DD wheel...could have saved myself some money. fortunately i gave my "old" wheel to my dad and now he's sim racing as well at 77yrs old. Most of us wont be able to afford to race for real, tires alone make a weekend very expensive but this is the next best thing. Great story Jack, thanks! Keep it up man.

In moza I like to have a mild double S curve for my brakes I have a similar soft for travel from at end spring elastomer setup I then set the first s so when I do light taps to scrub the brakes it doesn't over drive the pedal, and for firm stops I can power down to the resistance bumb. There I have the s curve plateau at 80% before increasing to 100% for emergency locking and acc. It makes it easier to modulate at the sorta 3 critical braking points for my muscle memory

I hope your computer is separate from that smart plug. Those plugs are meant to run low powered things like lamps, and can really be a fire hazard with too much load.

Rare VR tip for the win!

I've "upgraded" from Fanatec CSW 2.5 to Alpha mini and felt absolutely no difference in terms of FFB and tuning the feeling. I've upgraded from Alpha mini to Simucube and although I keeped the same FFB, the amount of tweaks in the settings in order to get a better driving feeling/immersion is light years away. Indeed: buy once, cry once - get yourself a Simucube not a cheap chinese product

You just made me feel bloody old!!! I started simracing in 1987, microprose grand prix 1 was my game, no wheels on those days, just the keyboard. I never used a console, maybe I used an Atari but can't remember much about it. I feel very lucky because I witnessed the beginnings of simracing and flight simulators(another of my passions). Another quality video brother. You mentioned fixed vs open setups here and previously, would be great if you could do a video on this subject. I tend to stick to fixed as I don't know enough about them to make meaningful changes to suit. I'm happy to buy the paid setups if need be so I can get into the open races, see what the craic is!

What overlay do you use? I like the look of it all, I know iOverlay and RaceLabs are the big ones.

Hey Jack I enjoy your videos but I got one tip. With the face cam try to make it eye level or atleast around it. Looking at the camera I can guess you have triples and if thats the case put the camera up on top of the monitor. Thanks for spending the time making these videos and have a good day

Congrats to all the people who were able to get above D level safety rating in formula cars. It was easy in road cars but F4 seems to be real hell lol. (or maybe it's because I'm slow)

I’ve enjoyed a few races here this week but I’ve been crushing F4 at Tsukuba mostly. Finally passed 2k iR 💪

great content! im stuck at 2900ir because i get thrown to top splits with 4-6k drivers... frustrating

so what formula series is NOT chaos!?!??! I just hit C class from running F4 and you have me scared to purchase any other car! LOL

Race beyond matter found out that ALL pedals using load cell and elastomer have the same problem. When braking hard and maintaining the same pressure, the elastomers kind of decompress, making the braking uneven. Spring or combination of springs and hydraulic with load cell seems to be the best match for consistency of applied pressure.

Man that was some superb driving! Had me on the edge of my seat the whole race. Might try and get into the Formula Lights once I get a better license rating.
