Ruby, sapphire and emerald came out when I was a kid and I cherish them to this day. For some reason I didn’t play any Pokémon games on DS or 3DS but I recently jailbroke my 3DS xl and I’m excited to play ORAS

Stumbled upon your video - loved it! Note on Wally, you can unlock another battle with him after completing a certain amount of Battle Resort battles, continuing to be a badass with his Lvl 80+ team

Pros: Gave both villains more motives besides "moar wotah, moar lan" Wally actually has a character conclusion. Our rival does something. We had more battles with megas. The Delta Episode... Nothing to say. Cons: It's Gen 6 so it's EZ-PZ. You get a mega LEGENDARY in the 4/5th gym.

In 2006 for my 6th birthday I got a gameboy advanced sp with Pokemon Sapphire with it. Needles to say I had tons of fun with it and while biased I just always loved gen 3, the music alone I just find so great to listen to still to this day. I just remember getting so excited when ORAS was announced and was so happy to get my hands on them. Now I never had Emerald up to that point, only bought it like last year. So I never experienced the extra stuff Emerald had that Ruby and Sapphire didnt, but I still had lots of fun and loved ORAS. I thought they added some good stuff, the music somehow just got better (Wally's battle music at the end of victory road goes HARD for no real reason and I love that) I did hear about what they didnt include and how ORAS could have been even better than what we got and I get that, but I just never could hate on those games man, biased? yes, but thats just how it goes haha. Good video dude, always love seeing people talk about gen 3/ORAS :)

I was born in 2003 so I wasn't one of the fans who had been playing the games since red and blue, but I had an older brother who got me into the series. I was stupid so I didn't know how to properly play the games when I was a young kid so my brother would let me do some battles and run around while he was playing diamond and pearl. Then one fateful Christmas my late grandma got me Omega Ruby and my brother Alpha Sapphire for Christmas. It was the first game I fully played by myself and its was solidified me as a true pokemon fan. It is also the reason why Sceptile is my favorite pokemon! I love these games because they're what made me love pokemon

I was playing on an emulator! I was using Citra but I heard there have been some tea with Nintendo Emulation recently. Just sucka because we own the game but it's like they don't want us to preserve the games. You can try it out if Citra is still around or I heard Lemonade or Lime3DS are alternatives now. 🙏 Best of luck

@@Kain42link Aw man, that's a shame. I had a similar loop bug when I was watching KZbin on my Samsung TV. Usually a power cycle and re-adding the app to the homepage worked. I assume if it's on Phone or PC, reboot it and maybe see if you can clear the cache by any means and see if that helps. :)

I just wish this remake series would have just.. retold the story with modern tech. It getting Nomura-fied with multiverse bs is so awful. Can’t support this sequel and the third one Also I’m not surprised that the enemies are still damage sponges. Just so bloated

If you want to know what's up with Cloud and his moments of insanity I recommend playing the original FF7 or Crisis Core especially Crisis Core as that's the game Zack is from and explains his whole deal as well

@b1bbly Crisis Core was a PSP game from 2007 its an action RPG like the rebirth trilogy but alot more primitive considering its from 2 decades ago but still fun and has its own unique combat system and a system I wished Remake trilogy had and that is Materia Fusion where you could take materia you didn't use and fuse it into new materia you'd want to uses with dozens of different recipes to figure out. The remastered Reunion edition is available on all modern platforms and modernizes the gameplay a bit and upgrades the graphics but I'll say it right now the new dub is bad compared to the original PSP one like Zack's VA in the remake trilogy is good but he was poorly directed in the remaster so just know that going into it along with the fact that it's still a psp game from 2007 so don't expect it be open world. Crisis Core is mission based but there's still plenty of little secrets to find out on the missions and in the Hub World of Midgar

I give it a 5/10. Every time it gets good, it gets bad. It's oppressive---unless you really like minigames. (as I write this comment I'm in the final battle (96 hours in))

@@b1bbly Hey, thanks for responding 1 I'm bad at mini games. 2. I think there is a tone issue that "Hi I'm excited" happens on repeat for some characters, and it feels forced. I skipped multiple story line scenes because it felt overbearing. 3. I think the music is bad, tedious and lacks a "part B" in it. This really adds to frustration at some parts of the game. The Nobuo Uematsu (original composer and the reason I write music) would write 2nd themes to many pieces. This is purely my taste in music. 4. I think a lot of the story and characters repeat themselves too much--though I really did enjoy the Sephiroth part you mentioned in your video. Like, you can describe most of the characters in 1 word. Sometimes scenes don't really have a logical flow into it, and makes me wonder when they happened...almost like the timeline is confused. As a counter point, there are a few really good scenes that I could see this being a 7-8/10 range. Yes. I did cry at one point.

playing pokemon sapphire is one of my earliest childhood memories, the remakes are pretty perfect imo especially because of the way it expands on gen 6. 3D sprites and animations are top tier for a ds game

I’ve just finished this for the first time. I played pokemon blue, and all the switch Pokémon’s which suck imo. This game though was awesome. Just spending my time collecting pokemon now and wondering which game to play next. I have all the 3ds and ds games on my 3ds now. Let me know what I should play next please 😁

You should try Heartgold/Soul Silver for the DS. Most people claim that as their favorite I feel like and it's pretty good!
