Wow, my story is quite similar to yours. Nigerian and always knew that i wanted to be a lawyer. I got bad alevels and for that reason alone its been such a barrier in terms of applying for training contracts/vacation schemes hence the reason why I have given up on being a solicitor. Graduated with a 2:1 in Law and Criminology though.

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR VIDEO!!!!! I'm in my final year as a law student, there's the LLM option that you did too and i do the LPC but there is also the option that i think maybe is what i should consider. Like applying for training contracts (2024/2025) at law firms that will pay for the LPC/SQE to be taken either a year in advance or at the same time, i feel like if i do this then i won't waste money and go into debt but after i graduate i can try different sectors meanwhile with like graduate jobs so by the time the training contract/LPC time comes up i'll know more of what i want. Do you think this is a good idea because i don't have too much experience aside from vacation schemes? x

Wow this is the first time I’m seeing your video/channel. Our teeth are so similar and we had the exact same teeth concerns. I think mine look a little more complicated hence why my price was more expensive. But I agree it’s worth it. I also have a “gummy smile” and my orthodontist suggested I could be interested in gum surgery. Initially i thought it would be a good idea but have you heard that those who have a gummy smile now are more likely to look younger when they are old? My friend in dentistry school said this. Our upper lip becomes loose when we are old and so it shows less of our upper teeth. But if you have a gummy smile then your teeth will look exactly the same haha making you look younger. So i won’t be getting the gum surgey!!

Everything you said is literally spot on. I really don’t think college prepares you for how difficult job hunt/unemployment/ post-grad really is. It’s really difficult. That transitional phase is also difficult. Thank you for this video. It helped me feel not alone and so seen as I’m currently dealing with this as well.

Great video! Having Invisalign in for me makes my teeth look really strait without the gaps. But when I take them out the gaps are there again. So I was so glad and thankful that I was able to gain confidence pretty much right away after having them in. I mainly got them for my teeth that are right next to my two front teeth because I had a pretty big gap there. I’m only on my 5/15 trey, but I already feel more confident.
