Interviews are stupid. People are given jobs based on how well they interview, which is unrelated to how well they will do the job. Then when people leave because their boss is shit and only became the boss because they interviewed well, the boss hires other people based on how well they interview, because the boss highly values the ability to interview well since interviewing well is the boss' only real skill. Eventually the company is full of people with no skills except the ability to come across well in interviews. So the company fails, everybody loses their job and then they all go off and land senior roles at other companies because they interview well, and the whole process starts again.
