Thanks but I have one question. If we gear level to driver side for manual the car should completely become manual car. It should not switch gears automatically high and low acc to speed. We should choose when to change the gear using paddle or gear lever

Hi i have a got a new gt line and took it to highway my speed was 100 to 120 i use soft footed while driving and the drive mode to be normal , i got mileage of 17, will this mileage improve after 1st service? Also for you after auto cutoff (ie full tank almost) what is the range it shows?

This feature is very good for new drivers or who don't like driving. If you love driving, then it would help to turn it off else it makes your steering very heavy.

@@rajyagami When you drive it in D mode, its not necessary to use paddle shifter and car will have its own internal gear shifter which will intelligently change the gears. Paddle shifter is used if you want to take control of gears on your own

Sports mode should impact mileage as engine does gets peppy but I will check if driving on same RPM and traffic conditions gives same results or different.

Thanks. I have a 2024 Seltos SX and find using the adaptive cruise control, along with the Reset button/feature VERY difficult to use. It's not intuitive at all. Have you ever tested and/or explained how all these features work?

Hi sir i have htx ivt. if iam driving on normal mode When i shift the gear lever to the right side to activate manual. It goes to sports mode from nomral drive mode. Is this normal?

Yes it’s normal. When you shift the gear lever to right side the default mode is sports mode only. The moment you change the gear the mode will change from Sports to Normal. After this you can change the mode as per your choice.

Your car will slow down automatically and will pick up speed again. But please adaptive cruise control doesn’t not work below 30kmph speed

Thank you for the info. Is this a diesel variant? How come your car is producing almost 17kmpl. Mine is diesel automatic and average doesn't go above 11 in the city despite trying my best to drive it in the smoothest possible way.

Yes it’s Diesel AT. I am getting around 16-17 in city traffic n 19-20kmpl on highways.

As my car is just couple of months old this question is a bit difficult to answer but upto now no issues with the paint. The time will tell in future. My biggest worry is in case of accidental repair will new repainting will be of same quality and colour.

Can you let me know is that true that paint will come off after 1 or 2 years and problem in riding in city as kia is made for Highways only?

I don’t came across with any bad quality paint in case of seltos. The paint problem has been an issue with Hyundai Creta and i20 specially white colour. The is no change in the build quality of Seltos 2023 and also please note build quality is same for all the variants from base to top.

@@CarjaanowithRajat but i noticed the heavy weight while pulling doors of GT+ AND Above. Do u believe that after 2 yeats kia will start loosing its paint and its performance even not being as same as buyed newly.

Please do use a soft cloth for cleaning. Also when dust or dust with water is dried on your car please do not use cloth for cleaning the car. In this case go for a proper washing of the car.

Keep the headlight switch in off position and not in auto if u want to Switch of the daylights

I don’t think so as it’s DRL (Day a time running lamps). Even on the off mode DRL will be on.

I got less mileage (9 to 11 KMPL) for initial 500kms. After 500kms mileage increased to 16-17 in city and 20kmpl on highways. I got first service done after 850kms
