If I just keep in d mode, and does it require me to use paddle shifters? Can't the d drive automatically move the gears up & down ?

@@rajyagami When you drive it in D mode, its not necessary to use paddle shifter and car will have its own internal gear shifter which will intelligently change the gears. Paddle shifter is used if you want to take control of gears on your own

Thanks but I have one question. If we gear level to driver side for manual the car should completely become manual car. It should not switch gears automatically high and low acc to speed. We should choose when to change the gear using paddle or gear lever

Not required. In-built clutch handles it.

Thank you for the info. Is this a diesel variant? How come your car is producing almost 17kmpl. Mine is diesel automatic and average doesn't go above 11 in the city despite trying my best to drive it in the smoothest possible way.

Yes it’s Diesel AT. I am getting around 16-17 in city traffic n 19-20kmpl on highways.

Hi sir i have htx ivt. if iam driving on normal mode When i shift the gear lever to the right side to activate manual. It goes to sports mode from nomral drive mode. Is this normal?

Yes it’s normal. When you shift the gear lever to right side the default mode is sports mode only. The moment you change the gear the mode will change from Sports to Normal. After this you can change the mode as per your choice.

How to back to D mode?

Pull the gear lever to Manual mode and back to Automatic Drive mode. The car will shift to D mode
