Seems to be the trend at the moment. Nothing before 2pm. I was the same the other day. Going on Monday for the last outing of the year.

That was a monster was at woodburn yesterday not the best of days weather wise very cold and quite windy only rose two fish on drys missed both then changed to orange daddy two diawa Bach's ended with 5 one about 10 pounds two casts later one about 7 pounds the rest about 3 to 4 pounds every fish took traffic light diawa Bach's had a few go for daddy lost a couple on it some place for big fish

Thank You Kenny for the wee film . The day turned out be ok after long spells of little activity and catching that big fish was a bonus . So late in the season and dries are still the killer method 😉🎣🎣

I have been releasing fish on barbed and barbless hooks for many years.My personal opinion is barbless tear at the entry point especially on larger hooks.Barbed hooks don't move and in my opinion do less damage. I use barbless on smaller sizes from 10's down to size 20.

It a good pattern that one, do you put the antenna on it , I left them out and still catch plenty even in the wild lochs 👍

No. We also got them on diawl bachs. If you see fish moving start with a floater if not a midge tip. As you know every day is different. Tight lines. Ken.

Dont need a net for catch and release. On a lot of fisheries nets aren't allowed if fishing catch and release 👍

You need to take care of the wild brownies when unhooking and returning them , they are the future fish you’ll catch the next time you’re there .
