You are breathtaking! And obviously very smart if you work at Google! Alas I see a wedding ring! I grew up in Silicon Valley and still live here but I don't work in the industry. I did get a google tech support certification though! (also ComptTIA A+). 🙂

Thank you for sharing! I am due any day and recently started to get really nervous about choosing the birth center even though I haven’t been nervous about it during my entire pregnancy. Hearing you talk about things so positively really helped me reframe my mindset.

Awww I’m glad you found it helpful!! Getting nervous towards the end of pregnancy is really common but you couldn’t be in better hands. The midwives are so amazing! I just had my second baby at the birth center last month and it was another great experience. Good luck and I hope you have a smooth delivery! ☺️

This was so helpful 🙌🏻 I have 2 queries: 1) I am currently pursuing Master of Arts in Public Relations. My work is generally not measured by Google format such as "Accomplished X measured by Y by doing Z." So, how can I tailor the work experience to write it in the resume. 2) What if I get selected for USA but I didn't receive the h1b visa. Will I loose the job or else they will provide position locally available temporary till I get h1b visas for eg. in London Thank you! You inspire me :)

Aww I’m glad you found it helpful! Thank you so much for watching and asking these great questions. I love that you already took a look at the suggested resume format. As much as you can, potentially ahead of starting a new project, see if there’s any way you can think about what the measurable outcome will be. Google is very data driven and if you can show your impact with numbers that really helps contextualize your work to people quickly scanning your resume.

On your second question, I’m not super familiar with the H1B process, unfortunately, but I can look into this for a future video. In the meantime, it may be worth speaking with an immigration lawyer if you haven’t already. You may be able to get a free consult with one to help answer your question.
