Hi! Unfortunately, it's actually a condo building not an apartment complex. We got lucky and an owner rented out their unit to us. But there are a lot of apartments in SoMa that are similar. Try checking out NEMA if you haven't already! And feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Hi! It depends on what school you are commuting to. SoMa can be a great commuter location if you bike or take public transit to FiDi. You can also find newer buildings at a cheaper price than other places in SF. However, there are a lot of sirens so it's not for everyone.

@@hiimaja I live in SF and no SOMA is the worst area of all of SF. the drug dealers, cracked out druggies, and homeless spilled out of the tenderloin and are all over SOMA. Penthouse on a 4 story + one building lol.

@@jacobrizz-l2m It definitely was in my opinion! It's actually a condo unit that we rented so it's not an apartment complex. The new tenants got a much lower price than average because of the timing with the exodus of people leaving SF during the pandemic. A lot of apartments were having a hard time finding tenants. If it were listed today it would probably be around 4k.

Wow, $3000? Zip rent now has it listed at $4250! That's crazy! Do you think the owners will negotiate lower for someone with good credit/rental history? Thanks
