I love how beautifully your locs were established. Many time when I see women with fine hair, the stylist make the locs bigger at the time of establishment believing the locs need a larger base to make them strong. But the larger base then robs the client of the potential for volume later on down the line. Whoever did your hair, did a wonderful job and now you get to enjoy the thickness and eventually super long length. I love this for you. Thank you for sharing your journey for others to see.

Thank you so much!!! When I went to do my consultation my locktitian showed me three size options and I immediately wanted the large size because I thought with my fine hair it would not be strong and would be easy to break off! But to my surprise she recommended the smaller size and I was so nervous but she explained that it will thicken up as it matures 😅… after the installation I got out of that chair looking like tweety bird, still not buying it and decided in my mind that if it doesn’t do what she says it will do in a few months, I’ll just go back in and let her double or triple them to make them bigger…BUT, she was right! Them little strands got thicker and more beautiful as the weeks go by and I’m loving them more everyday!! Best decision I ever made! 😆🙏🏽

Man I love retie days!!Especially when I’ve traveled and have to go longer than my recommended 6 weeks because I can’t find a good backup locktitian who would be willing to retie my locks while I’m out of town 😩.

Very cute 🥰 Sisterlocs. I’m 35 months Sisterloc’d with thin fine low density hair but my locs are thickening up and flourishing nicely. Love ❤️ the loc life best hair decision ever!

Watch out for build up using oils and sprays while your locks are lacking it will be hard if not impossible to get out

I do! But it never fails, some still come out... So I've just been wearing it everyday in braids and rubber bands since the last retightening. The struggle 😖
