Explore Jamaica Ep. 4: Five-Day Stay at the Holiday Inn Resort, Montego Bay

We spent 5 days and 4 nights at this Resort. It was a beautiful Resort very large and spacious with a cute little Island. There are complimentary boat rides and kayaking included in our package, all inclusive of food and never ending drinks.
The food wasn't all that great, the general dining area was always crowded, and I feel like because they had to mass produce the food to keep up with so many people, there was not a lot of effort placed in ensuring that the food actually tastes great.
The seafood restaurant on site was a let down. It was hardly a seafood restaurant, more like food without the sea. The coconut rice was soggy and there was not even a hint of coconut flavor in it LOL! Totally disappointed with this restaurant except our server Christine I believe her name was, very helpful and polite.
The on-site Italian restaurant saved the day it was my favourite place to eat. Overall the food was excellent there. Also, the jerk hut close by our suite was very convenient and the food was delicious.
Overall the Holiday Inn Resort is a great place for family with kids. Daily entertainment in the main stage at night and during the day. They had great performances with multiple singers and groups which actually could sing lol! The place was super crowded though, with many vacationers. I was grateful for the adults only pool with a swim-up bar where I could get away from the noise and the crowd and chillax by the pool with a cocktail.
The pub was pretty cool the music and vibe was great.
