I’m kinda happy they did this concept and reference. I know they’ve done the horror concept before. But a mv directly references a horror movie like Midsommer is really cool. please read this! so basically newjeans is trying to tell us something very important that all k pop fans should know. here is the meaning of ditto mv: to begin heeseo represents us as we all know. newjeans represents newjeans, and all the other k pop idols. the boy that is stealing heeseos attention represents our reality and the camera heeseo uses represents our phones, laptops etc. heeseo is a depressed, lonely, young fan that uses k pop to escape reality, the only thing that makes her happy. but she gets a little to obsessed with k pop that she thinks all her problems are solved and that k pop saved her life but the reality (the boy) is always there with unsolved problems that she escapes. and when she realised that her problems are still there and that all this newjeans stuff is just imaginary friends. she quit, she throws away her screen (the camera) and all the content she is watching and chooses reality and to solve all her problems. as she is in her reality now, she accindentally walks by newjeans having fun dancing in front of the train without her, this dosen't mean newjeans didn't like heeseo. it's just that they never knew her... let me explain. so all k pop idols and k pop groups have millions of fans and ofcourse it's impossible for the idols to know every single one of them. they won't notice if you leave because there is still millions of fans left, if they say we love you bunnies, they are not talking about a specific person. so what they are trying to say is that you shouldn't waste everything you have and all your time. they don't want you to be to obsessed and give up your reality when they can't give anyhing to you and don't even know you.

The song is very good it has a good vibe and has a deep meaning . Many teenage girls ( even some pre teens ) are left out because they are not fitting in their friend group , which makes them feel pressured ugly and most importantly feel no confidence . Everyone is pretty and beautiful it’s just us human beings making ”standards “ . And beacause of those fake friends after the girls are left out , they feel no confidence. Confidence is a really hard thing to achieve afterwords . i do'nt think it's lore, it's metaphorical and based in reality. its about v carving this magnificent world for himself. it's filmed in paris, this love life, of luxury, in a forein european country/city. all created, partying with all these people. but he woke up. and it turned into a nightmare as the past caught up to the present. he became dark, evil. fame trapped him, fame consumed him. v and jennie were in paris weren't they.

Just curious about what you think of I.N.'s part in the MV? Obviously he's the first to gain his power, as the Atlas like god, but do you think that's why when the others race off to find their eggs, I.N. who was standing in the centre of the group, stays where he is? Also, later on, we get that shot of I.N. where we can see his ant-like legs behind him, which honestly gives off 'queen' ant vibes to me. Having seen his new solo MV from HOP, it almost foreshadows the 'new' I.N., who has definitely left his Baby Bread persona behind, to actually become the Maknae On Top. I just find it interesting that although we know Bang Chan is leader, I.N. has 100% levelled up... and literally in the Walking On Water MV.

I have a theory too but it's what I personally think as we know the cat is inside the coffin in bthb and during the mama awards 2024 we saw that niki and bada lee were fighting for the coffin and when niki won we saw that sunghoon came out of the coffin instead of a cat this might also indicate that sunghoon was actually the one manipulating them into thinking that there was a cat and making the members fight with eachother.... My theory is that the people we're seeing in the Golden Hour MVs are Halateez, and the boys in the Diaries are Realteez - they're both doing similar things (making money, making purse) but they're so different in tone and vibe and actual happenings (being bummed out about real life and just getting some boring job vs. riding ostriches, laundering money, and burning down mansions). It seems like a parallel, mirrored, like each group is doing these things in their own dimensions. Who knows though. The idea that what we see in the Treasure series MVs is Hongjoong's book is really cool though, I like that idea. Maybe that means that what we see in the IOMT video is the actual event of which Hongjoong wrote about in his book (realteez meeting halateez in Answer). But that begs the question... if who we're seeing in the IOMT video is Halateez, then where are Realteez? We see the two groups meeting each other across the table in the Answer MV, but we don't see that in IOMT. And... who, or what, is Halazia?! Their lore is so interesting, I'm loving it. I hope this means we'll learn more about wtf Halazia was about because I love that song and music video so much and am so bummed that it was left alone as a spin-off, I need more! GH3, let's go back to Halazia...

What you said may explain some things, actually. Wooyoung is the only Halateez that doesn’t “self exit” during Hala Hala, and he is always playing with fire (lighters, matches) in previous videos. I haven’t had a chance to read the GH2 diary yet (I haven’t the album, just haven’t finished reading it yet!) Just in case it might mean anything (or maybe it doesn’t!), Halazia is also the name of quartz crystal in Greek. In the Halazia video, Yunho is in the broken hourglass holding crystals. Someone pointed that out to me some time ago and I had forgotten until just now. I love their lore so much!
