With a bait that heavy, are you getting any benefit from the floatation, or is it just for bulk? I know with aquid bait you can use the floatation to make it look alive.

The benifit I get from it is keeping it suspended higher in the water column to avoid rays, this is why I use pool noodle as it has awesome buoyancy

Hey mate, I like your video, just one thing that bugs me about it. The music, it’s not common to hear music at that volume in the background in fishing videos. Fishing I guess is a type of hobby you do to shut down everything else. I prefer to hear the wind, water and wildlife. That’s just my preference in constructive criticism. Everything else is great. Love go pro action. Just bought one of these lures and quite $$$

Would fitting rod holders etc into the gunnels allow the possibility for water to ingress to the inner hull cavity? And does polycraft offer an option to fill the cavity with floatation foam like Smartwave boats? Great video by the way. Cheers

Yes poly craft offer all options. Gunwale mounted rodholders are very difficult in a challenger due to the hull construction
