the gecko isnt dead. it looks like hes filming during the day and they are primarily nocturnal. sometimes they sleep in weird positions LMAO

No escapes in any of the sizes? Curious to if they hang upside down at the back and pulling it open may catch the gecko. Im guessing thats another reason for the vent in front to see. Did you use metal mesh screen hotglued to the outside? What to cut the hole with? 3 inch hole saw?

I love pinstripes but harlequins are my faveroute But I would go for the partial pinstripe bc I don't have one of thos and I only have a harlequin

Creasted geckos are actualy hydrophobic so water can't touch their skin but I like the joke :)

I have a single cresty in a small room but live where it's cold. We don't have great heating so I have a space heater in the room which works well. It pairs with Alexa and comes on at a certain temp; along with a digital thermometer in her cage. Will look into ceramic but seems harder to control via smart home. Thanks for the info!

I'm currently training 8 geckos. Four Gargoyle geckos and four Crested geckos. Every evening and sometimes in the morning I handle different animals...it's definitely not boring in my bedroom/terrarium room! I've set myself at least three years timeframe to get them all/most of them handtame. This should be interesting...

I have a 24”x18”x36” enclosure for my crested gecko. Temp in his enclosure is around 68 degrees in winter time. What wattage ceramic bulb should I get to raise temperature to at least 72 degrees?

I've been a herpetoculturist for over 40 years and decided to finally expand my hobby and fulfill my dream of owning New Calidonian geckos. I have four Extreme harliquin Crested geckos (two males and two females) and four Blouched Gargoyle geckos, also two of each gender. What I have also noticed while training with these young animals is that it does seem like the males are more social and handleable. The females are much more nervous and untrusting than my males of both species.

How do you train them to do this

1 bc I own a gecko like the other two

I own four extreme harlequin crested geckos, 2 males and two beautiful large females which I paid 60 euros(about $65) each. I bought them here in Germany from breeders who truly know these animals and have amazing animals. I also own four red blouched gargoyle geckos which I paid 110euros(about $120) for my two females and recently bought two young one year old males for...30euros(about $33)! All my animals are healthy, eat fruits crickets, spiders and of course powdered food. I know I got special deals because I am well liked here in Europe but the prices that we Americans pay stateside just blows my mind!
