This made me want take a look at my gecko myself to see if she has pronounced pinstripes or not 😂 I've never noticed the difference between ones that have the spikes going all the way down the back or ones that only have it near their heads and disappears down the back. (I think from watching this video) She's pretty yellow toned phantom gecko, mid pinstripe with tiger markings on the dorsal when fired up, no pattern on the sides. Thank you for making such informational videos and sharing your knowledge on crested gecko breeding and morphs as well as the financial aspect of breeding crested geckos. You share a lot of great information that's easy to learn and very helpful.

You're right. Pinning pushes the coloring down on the sides, into quad stripe type lines.

I would always go for healthy animals, there's a lot to look for, I'd recommend looking at other videos or articles online of what to look for specifically

Could you please tell me when is the suitable time to pair crested geckos? Some people said better in later winter or early spring because the geckos are relatively less aggressive. Some people said it is better before January. And some people said it is better to introduce them together in March. I know it is of course depends on the temperatures where you live, but are there any basic rules?

Technically they can breed year round so you could pair anytime. We start pairing here in late December usually through March or April but that's just our preference.
