Sorry, but for me this is a worthless comparison. I don’t have the budget for the upper tiers of scopes. Do the same test on $500 to $1000 scopes and you have my interest. I’m a bench shooter out to 1000 yds.

What’s bad is the new bridgelock slider has a 3 pin vertical and you STILL can’t adjust the pins independently 😂 Not being able to set those pins on 20,30,40 is ridiculous for the $700 price tag. Im buying one but I’ll probably stick with the 3 horizontal. You can adjust the top and bottom pins with that cartridge

So basically it’s just a 20,30 and 40 yd sight. The bonus pin on bottom all lands out yardage wise however fast the bow is? I was hoping it would be a 50 yd pin. Guess not.

With the windage, left or right, just follow the arrow. So if your shooting left move the scope left.

I have the black Gold Ascent Verdict on a picatinny mount on my Hoyt. I do not find this adjustment screw and have very little movement by slacking the socket head screws.

Does the single pin top pin match up to middle pin on 3 pin horizontal?

Yes it does. The top pin on a double pin cartridge will also line up on the middle pin of the 3 pin Horizontal. Lastly the top pin on the 3 pin vertical will line up with the fixed middle pin on the 3 pin cartridge.

When you are setting your second pin for 30 yards do you stand at 20 or 30 before adjusting ?

Once you've done the sight tape portion, move to 30 yards and adjust the pin to shoot at that distance. Same for the bottom pin at 40. Move to 40 and then make the adjustments to the pin to be on. Last thing is you'll need to adjust the 3 pointers to 20,30,40.

I shoot the Spot Hogg XL for the past 3 years,no complaints no need to change I love this sight very accurate and it’s built like tank, I recently buy HHA RYZ just to compare and both are the same very accurate nice built. It’s just personal preference what you like. I like both, I don’t think hha its better than spot hogg to me both are great sights.

If your confident with your ballistics and it works for you than the Regular 4000 is just fine. I personally don't have a custom turret so pairing it with the GB works really well.

I just got a MBG Pro 4 pin to replace a Fast Eddie XL to save some weight. Is there any reason not to set the 4 pins before determining the sight tape?

Yes you can do that. The sight tape process is separate from sighting in the pins. Most of the time we do the sight tape process first but as long as you follow the sight tape process correctly you should be good.

It depends on how deep your case is and the bow your using. I personally can't get mine to fit, so I just take the quiver off of the bow so my arrows don't get pushed on.

My guess is something is a little out of wack. I would try to bring the sight back to normal or parallel with the riser and retry. Sometimes it takes me a good 30 min -1 hr until i've got it perfect.

Why do you lower the 2nd pin all the way down? I’m just curious? If all the way down is the place it has to be then why is there adjustment to it?

You don't have to lower it all the way down. I like the largest pin gap I can get for my setup, typically because most of my shots are within 20-40 yards. For my bow I'm able to get 40 yards on the bottom pin so when I pull up on an elk I'm basically covered. If I was to set it up at 20-30 yards I'd have to know the drop at 40 if I didn't have time to dial. I've just found that most of my elk encounters seem to fall near 40 yards, so I like having a pin to shoot off of.

I would need a little more information about what your trying to do here. Typically when using any of the Ultra View cartridges the middle pin in the housing is what we would have as our floater pin. so the pointer would need to correspond with that pin.
