What a task! But the end results are stunning. The ones we’ve seen like the couple with the burning match and cigarette are great. You may also find that sometime in the future there may be a few historical gems from a place that seem so-so to you but somewhere, someone sees it and it’s the missing link they never knew existed to an event. Good luck with the task!

@@rich8019 ha aye, the Plustek certainly was (though it is an excellent scanner!). I'll definitely be sharing more of this as i go, and will be blogging about it too on my website, so keep an eye out there :)

thanks! yeah, it was frustrating not getting anything done for a long while, but this method just makes the most sense to me now. its so much easier in comparison and the only time consuming bit is the clean up in post - but i don't need to go too hard on that unless printing etc.

@ i feel like it someone was brought up shooting BW it would be a no brainer. The output from the sensor is great, plus the ability to pair it up with colour filters properly, too. Funnily enough, i am selling this one (got my eye on something else). If you have any more questions, feel free to drop me a message!

Great documentary work Lee. At 2:30 and 7:35 you capture Glasgow based documentary photographer Ray Evans, he's wearing an orange colour sweater and carrying a pair of Leica R cameras.

Sadly that known Z6 III flicker is present even here. Can see it on the left 1:03, 1:40, 1:52 and in most shadows. Hopefully Nikon says something about this soon

Thanks for the comment, but I wouldn't concern yourself with the Z6iii 'flicker', it isn't here. That is a flicker added in post to mimic slight exposure shifts when shooting film - I'm just trying out new things and experimenting so I can learn the software.
