Beautiful packaging on the vinyl. Besides some snippets I haven’t managed to listen to it yet but looking forward to having some time to give a proper listen. Preordered it on strength of the previous album, Vindsval’s involvement and the knowledge that Debemur Morti will produce quality packaging with great artwork. Didn’t disappoint in that regard. Was hoping the Debemur Morti staff member(s) could shed some light on the instruments: When it credits Sacr with ‘all music’ does that simply mean the songwriting but he didn’t play any instruments? How much of the guitar is played by Vindsval? The credits say Vindsval plays ‘additional’ guitar which seems to imply there are other guitars being played by someone else (or do they mean the guitars merely accompany the other instruments like the koto?) Are the additional vocals and other instruments like the koto performed by unlisted artists?

A really really sad song, the mistreatment, the abuse the wrong decisions. The need to get away from this place, be it literal or just a state of mind, where abuse and regret speak through the walls constantly, frightening him, but at the same time he punishes himself by staying there and liking it cause he only exists there. A masterpiece.

Simply a haunting, mystical and mesmerizing album ! Masters of creating a atmosphere of impending dread ! The mix down is flawless after all I think the whole scene has out grown out the recorded in a rusty garbage sound of early BM recordings !
