Fella, I was otr for years and the wait time loading or unloading isn't that bad because many places are drop n hook today. Flatbed, now them guys do a lot of wait time but I'm sure that they get detention pay. Now, I do port work, pull out containers and deliver to customers and or get them loaded and bring them back to the port. Home every day. Wait time at the port to get a box dropped on a chassis can be straining but it's all done in log book time with no problems. I'm thinking about doing hazmat tanker though for the top pay. Keep it pushing and truck on your way?

I drive for Pilot too. Same story except I’m at $27 hourly plus weekend pay. I get 1 dollar extra an hour for working sat and sun. The company is mediocre but a little more laid back than others. The location I work out of is one of the lower payed locations.

My advice to you is stack as much money as you can to the point where its a little uncomfortable because making that jump from company to O/o your Gonna need some operating capital. Thanks for this! Brand new generator here that won’t stay running. I even bought an expensive exhaust extender kit…still won’t stay running. Predator is doing this to avoid a lawsuit if someone does something stupid. Love the idea of just gorilla tape over the sensor, will try that first before shorting the CO relay. Where has common sense gone that we need this level of “safety” on a generator??? We must be getting really stupid in this world…hey folks, don’t breathe exhaust fumes, it will kill you. Done! 🤦🏼♂️

Looking at the sensor in this vid...it seems to have a series of holes ( like speaker holes) on the one-edge of the sensor. Would taping off the holes prevent excessive CO from accidentally tripping the unit?...or....does it NEED clean air to enter for it to function well? If it's only excessive CO entering as its functioning...then putting silver HVAC tape over the holes may do the trick
@harborfreight6 ай бұрын
The CO shutoff system is a critical safety feature which can help to prevent the risk of sudden illness and death resulting from the accumulation of undetected CO, which is an odorless, colorless gas impossible for the human senses to detect. The health and safety of our customers remains our top priority and we recommend discontinuing any use of this product without a functioning CO shutoff system.
