This system is engineered for a 4-bedroom house. The tank is a 1000-gallon 2-compartment with a 3rd 500-gallon pump compartment.

This is a typical Engineered system in Teller County, Colorado. This particular system is sized for a 3-bedroom future home. There is a 3' sand filter and 3 rows of infiltrators/pipe that are 66' long (11' x 66' bed).

The three residents if the house myst spend an enormous amount of time in the bathroom. Especially if the home has a gray water system for sink, shower and lavs.

One question. What's the perc rate? LOL
@ConstructionVideos8 күн бұрын
Believe it or not, it’s actually faster than normal soils and that’s why we have to put in a 3’ sand filter. It’s all micro-fractured granite.

The white material is caliche. It makes for tough digging. It’s hard on bucket teeth and pins and bushings. I’ve dug in lots of it in New Mexico.

Gud joke! Put many mound systems in the south, though mound system on a slope more than 3% slope are more difficult due to the width and height of chambers, im guessing u came little close to bed rock (noticed frost pick) on the low end? Looks like syatem needed to go bit lower.
@ConstructionVideos10 күн бұрын
ha thanks! A little lower would have been nice, for sure. It will just be mounded a hair. The entire end of the field was in some pretty hard stuff, and we didn't have our frost hook with us on the first day of excavation.

The two eco-freaks who down-voted this video already have their houses in the Colorado hills but don't want anyone else to have that opportunity. They are crying over that young pine tree that was dug up with the first excavator scoop. He most likely replanted that pine.

You're not going to get the performance of a 30Klbs dozer, but it works for stripping top soil, and moderate cutting. We mostly use it for cutting pads and driveway maintenance (ditching, crowning, etc).

How long does the charge last
@ConstructionVideos3 ай бұрын
It uses (2) 12AH Flexvolt batteries. We typically mow for about 45-minutes and the batteries still have 2 bars on the indicator when we're finished. It would probably go for about an hour and a half.

What width and height footings are you building? How are you finding the quality of the footer boards you are using. Are you going to build ICF walls? Nice looking job so far.

Thank you! These were 20" wide x 8" deep, and it is for an ICF (Foxblock) foundation.

@@ConstructionVideos We're using Foxblock 8" cores as well. Currently working on forming up our footers 36"x12". Adding Xypex to the footer and basement concrete for water proofing in addition to other measures.
@ConstructionVideos3 ай бұрын
@@wrfarms9741 good deal. We coat the ICF with Henry’s damproofing (foam-safe) and a Foundation drain is normally required, as well. We typically use the EZ Flow drain pipe that already comes in the sock with the peanuts. Easier to install than pipe and gravel up where we are.
