Amen. This reminded me of Lot's wife. When the city they were living in gets destroyed and they're running away but for some reason, she looks back. I believe it's because something the enemy reminded her sparked a reason to turn her look towards that city. I may be wrong on who the person was here but, when the enemy plants a thought and we act upon it, it can lead to our undoing. The enemy is deceitful, so we must pray for discernment, and if it's a big thing you are dealing with, the Lord says to be still. Just give it to Jesus, and God will work in us.

Was a pleasure being the score/stat keeper on your card day 2 (in the rain) at The Preserve this past June, Silas. Like many others, I discovered disc golf during the Covid thing. It was after a Sunday morning church service that my wife mentioned to another couple that I hadn’t been getting outside much, and the husband immediately invited me to play that afternoon. It’s been over four years and we play pretty much every Saturday morning, and our parting words are typically “see you tomorrow in church”. It’s been remarkable.

That's just complete nonsense. There isn't a single historian even if they are an atheist who denies the Jesus existed. They might deny the deity of Christ, but no intelligent, informed person denies the personhood of Jesus. If you don't believe that, I would challenge you to follow the path of Lee Strobel, who was an ardent anti-Christian and set out to disprove the existence of Christ. But if you want to talk about cringe, that would be a non-believer repeating washed up nonsense. The Christian faith is not a blind faith without evidence. There is ABUNDANT evidence, not just for Christ, but for the historicity of the Bible. There is not a single archaeological discovery that has ever been found that contradicted the history recorded in the Bible. There is not a single irrefutable scientific discovery that contradicts the Bible. There have been many proposed contradictions, there have been many things that for years, decades, even centuries were proposed as not being supported by anything outside of the Bible... and then they make a discovery and find the Bible was right after all. They have discovered cities that for years people didn't believe existed. Well, now you can go there. Kings and rulers that there weren't any record of for years and years, until they uncover something that matches exactly what the Bible says. No evidence? Sorry, but that's simply not even remotely true.
