Like many others, I discovered disc golf during the Covid thing. It was after a Sunday morning church service that my wife mentioned to another couple that I hadn’t been getting outside much, and the husband immediately invited me to play that afternoon. It’s been over four years and we play pretty much every Saturday morning, and our parting words are typically “see you tomorrow in church”. It’s been remarkable.

In a age where believing is mostly laughed at, I appreciate Isaac stating his faith. Hopefully many others can be inspired and speak their minds...even if it's against current cultural sway.

I mean each to their own, but religion in 2024 shouldn't be a thing. Technically it's insanity and a complete lack of logic and critical thinking to believe in magic that was made up 2000 years ago by simple and desperate ancient people.

This is awesome, what a great witness. I'm the pastor of a small Baptist church and have been throwing disc golf for 24 years. If you are ever going through Ohio and need a place to stay, my wife and I have a spare bedroom.

Good on you Issac. There's definitely cultural pressure to shut up about Jesus or you'll be hated and cancelled. It takes guts to stand up for Him in Western countries.

I always liked Isaac and Ezra Robinson. You can tell they are a faith filled family and I am so happy to see it in this age. Isaac is an wonderful example.

I am super thankful for Isaac. Our Good Lord offered a different way to live life, and Isaac accepted. His way can be challenging because we often feel awkward, and no one really understands our point of view. As Isaac said, this can be a very lonely and depressing place. Please know, brother Isaac, that you are not alone, and billions of believers are pulling for you. And if you feel the need to reach out for someone who listens and understands, please pray for it and reach out. God bless.

Thank you! Isaac, I wept for pure joy when you first testified for the Lord in Jomez coverages. My prayer has been for years that Jesus might be powerfully glorified in and through the disc golf community worldwide and many many people will come to know the Lord and be radically saved. Let us pray for all the christian discgolfers and for each of our walk with the Lord. And let us cry out to God for the salvation for all who do not yet know the Lord. Let us join hands in prayer and fellowship and set our hearts to burn brightly for our King ❤‍🔥. There is nothing more important than Jesus and eternity. Let us keep our hearts with all diligence (Prov.4: 23)! Jesus said: "Seek first the Kingdom of God..." (Matt.6: 33). I wanna share this Scripture here from apostle Paul: "According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. LOL! You may have heard Issac say that it's scary to share his faith. It's scary because the western woke culture hates Christians. I suppose if you are from an ultra humanistic country like France or Canada then the US may seem more religious but the US is basically just as Godless.

Religion is popular but true Christianity is not. Most people think of religion as trying to be a good person, but it is actually about how we are bad people who have been forgiven by the only good person, Jesus, who was good in our place and took our punishment by dying in our place and satisfying the justice of God. He paid our fine. There is nothing we can do to be at peace with God other than trust in the sacrifice of Jesus

Explain this to me. Raised Catholic, went to church every day during Lent multiple times, even played mass as a child. But one thing got me. God, the deity who expelled humans from Eden for eating an apple, who drowned the Earth with Noah, who rained fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, vindictive. Yet, he sent his son in the form of Jesus, and we murdered him. And that saved us? Hmm, never made sense to me.

I'm from a Christian home, went to Sunday school, tried to live well, went to church occasionally. Read the Bible with open mind when I was around 24, that's when it clicked for me. God, who created you, in his image, desires to have a relationship with you. Christ’s perfect life and then death/resurrection provide a way for you to have a true relationship with God - not through any priest, but directly with God himself.

If your curious about Jesus' sacrifice and the vindictiveness youve pointed out, I'd highly recommend the philosopher Rene Girard. It's dense but that's because it's a topic that simply can't be shallow.
