its an option on the eqclient.ini file - its used to reduce lag it helps a lot when there's 200++ people

@@randomfan168 in retail EverQuest Killstealing doesn’t exist. Mob rights are determined by who gets killed credit via doing 51% or more of the damage to the enemy npc (not counting dead or FDd players)

Around Velious launch we were winning most dps races. Then the competition showed up with 50 wizards and we lost for a few days so we leveled up our own army and have won 4/5 races since. When it comes to actual contested races we have blown out the competition in Velious so far. That said, we don’t batphone every single spawn, just like 1-2 T1s per day unless we are otherwise occupied with official or GDKP raids.

I want to join in on this minmaxing as an adult, the normal game is too easy now and I have an ich for nostalgia. Cheers man. I am learning a ton about potential game design from both how you guys are tackling content and some of the interviews on your channel with eq emulator players/creaters. That stuff was very inaccessible before youtube. Cheers.

@@ckerouac You’ve killed fewer T1s and massively less T2s than us. You’ve got those goal posts stretched really thin trying to only count OW raids where no one shows up to contest since you’ve lost most of the dps races you’ve had since launch.

@@FacelessZaide before the server launched you said you wanted to own open world. You got your ass handed to you and have moved the goalposts of success multiple times. To date you have less than 20% of OW T1 targets for a 600+ person guild, but keep telling yourself whatever helps you sleep at night.
