My channel was just going to be focused on van life and my weight loss journey but I have also now become a hiker and explorer of redundant churches. I am also waiting on results for my Coronary Heart CT Scan after being in hospital with chest pains. So do everything you want to do whatever makes you happy! Look after yourself my friend.

I love your perspective, and hope your cardio issue is improving. I’ve had two surgical procedures on my heart in the past 8 months and photography has been a big part of me coping with the situation. I like your videos very much and enjoy taking “photo walks” with you and others on KZbin who have a similar approach.

A lot of common sense talked, I need to get back out taking videos again

Its a good point for the past six years i spent doing portraits and creative photography and worked with some beautiful models using light set ups and had to use manual mode everytime but now I've dedicated to shooting woodland photography i have no problem using Aperture mode which i now use 99% of the time its there to be used, photography is about capturing an image that's what's important not how we capture it. Good topic for a video Brian and well covered 👍

I take most of my photos on my phone, my dslr is too much messing about. The photos are better too imo. Phones so versatile, light and convenient. When my contract ends I'm upgrading to the galaxy ultra with a 500mp wide angle lense. Good video, hope to see more on phone photography.

I look forward to your video on phone photos, I use my Samsung and it takes decent photos. I have an old Canon dslr in the shed, I'll have to dig it out and see what it's like, it's an old eos 400D. Pretty old tech now. The new canons like the one you have are out of my range at the moment. Spent all my money on a house after selling the motorhome.

Brilliant tutorial Brian. I've yet to use lightroom so this will be valuable. I hope you do many more tuts on lightroom aswell as equipment etc. Well done.

I think a macro shot of that fern on the log would have been nice, it would have looked like a miniature rain forest. Keep up the good work, I'm thinking of trying photography like this now. We gave up vlogging with the motorhome.
