Embarking on my inaugural journey with the Canon R8 paired with the RF 24-50mm kit lens was an eye-opening experience. Overall, I must say that I was quite impressed with the camera.
Despite the Canon R8 being often labeled as an entry-level camera, I believe it unfairly receives a bad reputation. When comparing its specifications with the R6 and R6 Mark II, the differences are not as substantial as some might suggest.
For my style of photography, the Canon R8 proves to be a valuable asset, and I genuinely consider it an upgrade from the R6. In my opinion, it offers a compelling package that shouldn't be underestimated, challenging the notion that it is merely an entry-level option.
