I’ve replaced the suspension and recalibrated and my washer still bangs all over the place once it gets to the spin cycle. What would be the next thing to check?

The tub hub. get the agitator up and look under it. If you can wiggle the inner tub inside the outer tub they need to be tightened up or replaced. Also make sure the machine is level and on sturdy ground

I 3d printed a small tube from TPU filament to replace the original rubber. About 5 cents per piece. Split the tube along its length, add grease, install. It works a treat, the spring is now like a shock absorber with retarded recoil and the system is back to original tension.

My LG front loader is about 20 years old... maybe more.... the past few days... it won't spin all of a sudden. I've had an issue with the lock for a bit now, but we have figured out that part. Now it makes a funny noise trying to spin. I keep getting a UE code... but I'm not sure that's the proper code. I'm wondering if my display is "dying" out.. as my dryers has. I'm hoping this helps because I really love this set

Hi all. What is the correct part number for this door seal? I have to replace the bellows on a 2018 Electrolux EFLS627uiw0. The part I have doesn't seem to fit in the outer shell channel correctly, and I don't want to finish the install is all if it is the wrong part. Your help is appreciated.

Very helpful video. Thanks!! How do I know the part number of the pump for my particular LG model (WT7300CW ABWEUUS)? I had a chat with a service rep who provide me a link to LG parts, but when I browsed the site and entered my LG washer model, there was no part # for the pump. Appreciate any info you can provide

I completed a replacement of the drain pump in my LG washer using the method in this video and it went very well. You will probably see other videos that require you to open the entire front assembly and I would encourage you to try the method in this video first. It does require that you are able to tilt back the washer by about 60 degrees to get underneath, but if you can do that, you should be able to replace the drain pump using this method. One other note is that my drain pump assembly was not only affixed by three screws behind the pump filter (the ones he notes are missing in the video) but also by a plastic tab on the bottom (in the video he removes a screw in that same spot). Just know that the pump assembly may be held in place by this plastic tab which you can easily flex and thus remove the assembly.

Great video. My LG was a little different in that the entire bottom was covered with a white sheet of plastic but i was able to open it and install a pump from Amazon which cost 30 bucks. The biggest problem turned out to be the hose filled with grit. Thanks for this video.

I've got a top load LG which failed this way after 8 years and it's supposed to have a 10-year warranty on the motor and everything associated with it. have a 20 mi outside of Milwaukee and they consider that to be an unserviceable unwarrantied area. real God damn pain to get to it on a top load, gotta take it all apart

it turns out I didn't have to take anything apart, besides that hard plastic coupler on the back, I looked underneath and started to take it apart and realize the shaft not was loose. I tightened it and the thing worked. it's doing the same thing as yours in the video and it was also getting a code for a bad motor. so it's all fixed and it's working just fine. thanks for your video that inspired me to actually rip the thing apart myself which had very little ripping apart to do at all. literally a 10 minute fix start to finish

Going through the bottom is definitely the way to go.but on my machine the access hole at the bottom is more in the center and rear of the machine and away from the pump. I also had to drill a 3/8" hole under the round black filter element from the front of the machine in order to unscrew the lower front screw that holds the pump assembly in place. I also went back with a couple larger ty-raps instead of the larger hose clamp, as I couldn't work the old clamp on the larger hose back in place over the soft rubber drain hose. I imagine a radiator hose clamp would be better but it's 9 PM.right now and auto parts stores are closed. The old pump lasted eight years.

A replacement pump thru Amazon was $26. But the total replacement time was closer to 120 minutes from start to finish. And I'm usually pretty efficient at mechanical tasks.

Quick note: check to make sure your drain hose isn’t stuffed too far down into the drain hole. We had our almost brand new machine stop draining. After troubleshooting various things we discovered the drain tube was stuffed so far down that it was pulling water back up into the machine and eventually caused the OE error. Simple fix

At 4:49 you can see another mounting point further in for fitting an extra shock absorber and the same extra mounting point will be found on the other side. Just leave the old shocks in place and fit new ones to the extra mounting points for really good results. Just a helpful tip for everyone.

@@appliancerepairamerican hahaha... fair point... I'm now wondering if the level sensor is the issue (clogged/bad) since now I cleaned the filter and pulled vacuum on the drain line it drains but won't stop a draining "cycle" (when rinsing on tub clean it just spins the dry pump and eventually says OE)... unless you think it's something else?

I have done this, and there is not space inside to get to them with tools. I got half of them out, 3 missing. And I can move them a little bit, and then they are stuck. It's not like my washing machine is like the one in the video; there's a lot more components inside, not empty space like on this one. Stupid solution. Use bolts, washers, nuts and rubber washers. But "oh no, it has to be assembled in 15 seconds by an employee". Please tell me why a washing machine does not have detachable side panels. Really bad solution.
