Im looking this thing on Sweetwater and its on my wish list Im trying to tell myself all the reasons I dont need it. I have accumulated 3 entire acoustic drum kits. I realized how loud they are and could practice more with the mesh heads.

I have a flat chinese there really is no flange up. It is more like a standard crash except it is a 16" and like maybe 1.5"around the edge which normally would bend up is very thin looking. I cant figure out how to mount it. Like a china, or a crash? Sabian AA flat...

I actually just picked up a mint set of 1960s New Beats, the best sounding I have used in 44yrs behind a kit.

Killer lesson! To me it's of the utmost importance to learn how to touch on the hi hats first before even thinking about variations and patterns. Thanks for a really great lesson on the basics!

I was watching this video because I was considering buying the in ear monitors by Drumeo they have some dope tripple driver ones I wanted to see if I could use those as studio headphones I just got my first drum kit and I went with the alesis crimson II So I was hoping those in ear monitors would work bc I have a giant head and I can never find a set of headphones that fit 😂 they never go down far enough the bottom of my eats are hanging out so it obviously makes the seal around the ear 👂 useless At 40 I’m finally learning the drums I spent the last six months on practice pad and a kick drum practice pad just learning fundamentals Anyway thanks for taking the time to read

Hey man, I'm digging into hardware recently and love Yanaha stands you have currently, the 850 series. However i'm curious about your older top ones too. They had like this T shaped braced legs. Can't really find what brand or model it was. Would it be some sort of older Gibraltar stands? Cheers

do you really need this if you have a mixer and some studio monitors? I really need help. I feel like my monitors are not giving me that bug punch no matter how i set my mixer.

even better nowadays, they expanded the drum department to double the size, have isolated rooms for listening, one big room for cymbals, another room just for snares. its a drummers heaven

Hey guys, I have an older Sabian China that I used to play, right-side up. This is interesting, and I've seen a lot of comments about other players that have done this. I'm currently rejuvenating my kit to teach the young'uns. I took note of the comment by Jonathan Doe about keyhole in the bell, and this is also my first concern. Does anyone else have info to add about the premature wear of the bell by using this method? I'm open to try it but I don't want t destroy a very valuable cymbal in the process. Asking for me, not a friend.

Fucking up his resonance heads hitting hard with a stick and tapping with a tuning key like that. Also messing up hardware by the way he removed the heads. Hope people don't do like this guy.

I know this isn’t an ad for Roland, but if you play this level of kit in this manner, you will end up having to replace all the cymbals within 2 years, maximum. It’s pathetic really, for the price they are absolutely not durable

I have an Efnote e kit. Will this be loud enough to jam in a band in a small venue? does this have serious volume? because the Alesis Strike 12 was not enough volume for me, the EQ was decent but one day it stopped working like many other reviewers have stated and while under warranty Alesis knowing the issue responded months later after the fact and still did not warranty the product nor would the store I purchased from. That aside, I am now running through a set of JBL IRX112BT's with matching 15" subs, while this is close to loud enough I am pushing the speakers to the limit because of the frequencies despite the general EQ settings. I know the JBL's are louder when used properly for streaming music they shake the house, with the drum kit the volume is decreased especially when using line out R/L to each JBL set up, I get better volume just going to one speaker and using the 3.5 headphone out ? I thought about the Simmons 12" and 12" sub but not sure if it will produce enough volume? I need enough volume to drive a small space, I jam at home with my kids who wear ear protection but we are getting to the point where we like to feel the music not hear it and are always in need of more volume. Any suggestions from anyone :-) I want a small venue stage volume in my home where I can turn it down if need be not be wishing for more volume :-)
