So you favor the 9 over the stock 11?
@goldfools544514 күн бұрын
I can only go by my experience. I have found many nuggets with both coils. In answer, yes I do prefer it in certain situations. There are many nuggets that either coil will find quite easily. Where I find the difference is very subtle signals. Be they small targets or deeper targets, The response is more positive rather than doubtful. I have found nuggets I probably would have missed with the standard 11”.
@dsrtdwg150113 күн бұрын
@@goldfools5445 Interesting, I have had the 10 x 5 since it was available here in the US. It became my go to set up because of the shape/size/sensitivity and general handling. I started to notice that when I used the 11 my finds seem to increase slightly even in rocky, uneven ground. Might be a number of different factors to that. Thanks for the reply. BTW 6000 vids are always appreciated when the maker shows different responses to setting variations on the same target. Thanks for that, best of luck to you.

Hello Mark. Great info, has helped me out a little as now looking for my first PI detector, been saving and was looking for info on detectors being used in WA as that's where i live also how they react to all that iron stone/ mineralisation, found your channel by mistake and subscribed straight away, will watch the rest of your video's now. So i am drawn to the sdc as Minelab has been at it for a long time, plus it folds up for easy transport. However Garrett now has the Axiom which is lightweight and they have released it in a lower cost set up, but now you have just introduced me to the Algoforce. You're thoughts and your subscribers would be welcome, is there a forum where this subject is going on? Thanks for your channel. Regards Dan.
@goldfools544518 күн бұрын
Hi Dan. At this point the GPX 6000 or the GPZ 7000 are still the top of the game. The SDC and the Algoforce are similar in performance. All of these detectors are capable of finding gold in Western Australia. Of course the detector is only part of the story. You have to do your research and find the area that holds gold. If money is no concern then the 6000 is the way to go. The Algo and the SDC would make good starter detectors. I found 12 nuggets today and the SDC and the Algo would probably have found all of them..
@danielgrenfell449515 күн бұрын
Thankyou Mark. I very much appreciate your help, yes your right about the research. Aaron at Reeds put me down that track last year, and I will most likely go on a couple of guided trips, after your comments on the SDC and minelab's track record, it looks like an SDC for me. Once again thank you for your help and happy hunting. Dan.

Great test 👍Im in the states waiting to get the Algoforce E1500. Like you said its not the 6000 and it shouldn't be compared to it. For the money someone has finally made a good introductory PI. Why has Minelab avoided this market for so long? I was a Minelab dealer back around 2009.

Much appreciated with your video. We don’t live anywhere near a gold region but a couple of times a year do camp in those areas. We’ve been spoilt by going out with someone who owns a 7000. So for us it’s about justifying the cost verses how often we’ll use it. And from what I’ve seen on your videos I think this machine will fit the bill nicely.
@goldfools5445Ай бұрын
Since I posted this video, the machine has had a few software updates. It’s even better now. The company is developing updates regularly. You update the machine on your own computer, it only takes a minute. It’s a good machine that’s getting better all the time.

The Algoforce E1500 is a new detector recently released in Australia by a local Adelaide company. Its strength is small shallow gold. It’s a very affordable “in comparison” machine. Would make a good first Pulse Induction detector. It is very popular, with stock running out all the time. As far as my videos go, I just report what I see.. 😁

It’s just lack of understanding that makes you think it’s permanent destruction. We clear some bushes off about a half acre. This desert woodland is multi millions of acres. It’s larger than some countries. After we have finished our work, we rehabilitate the area. Once the ground has been disturbed, it will germinate many of the seeds that were under the small trees and bushes. In a few years this will be regrown heavier than it is now. We also avoid pushing over bigger more mature trees. We appreciate your comment.
