I find Joe's scream both horrifying and funny. The scream from behind the screen sounds goofy, but imagine being about 50 feet away from this thing breaching the water and screaming as loud as that would make your bones tremble like the earthquake's Japan gets. He has "Megalodon" in his proper name for a reason.

People like to clown on Joe’s scream, but for me it’s the most terrifying. He’s the hardest of the three to beat IMO and his scream gives me this deep sense of dread/panic

I love how Splatoon started out as a fun game about kids and squids and covering things with pretty colors, then ended up with Horrorboros' channeling the last moments of every soul that died a painful death

The King Salmonid's roars sound similar to some of the Kirby boss screams Cohozuna - Haltmann Horrorboros - Marx Soul Magolodontia - Magolor (unused version)

We saw an ominous eel looming in the skies. "Tf is this? Is it a secret? A side game?" It was the Horrorboros. We thought that was it, we thought they were the Dynamic Duo. But then, we saw another King Salmonid. That was the Megalodontia. So when we faced the Overly Upgraded Cohock, the Undulating Steelhead, and the Mega-sized Maws, we found out that this was the Torturous Trio instead.
