I will have to go watch the South Park episode in question. When folks threaten to sue South Park, I find the South Park guys hit one our of the park and are 100% accurate. The louder the criticism of South Park--The Righter They Are.

Her first name was re-imagined to contemporize it and give it diverse appeal. There was no need to preserve the old, traditional name. There should be no comparison or criticism because this is a whole new name. It's nothing like the old name at all. In summary, the old name was replaced with a fictional name with no ties to romance whatsoever.

I will be boycotting this movie and I know lots of people who will do the same. Let it bomb at the box office and maybe Disney will consider reshooting all of Zegler’s scenes with someone else, make some changes that reflect more closely to the original animated movie and rerelease it to a massive success.

I’m sorry but she was an awful choice to play such a beloved character. In real life, Zegler just reminds people that most (not all) today’s youth are entitled little brats who don’t have a lick of common sense. Zero respect, lack of morals, etc Leave the classics alone! What I still fail to understand is why studios who want to honor but "update" these stories don't just use them as archetypal foundations/sources for new stories. How many freakin' Romeo & Juliet stories are out there? Warm Bodies is a *great* retelling of the archetypal story of R&J. Just… be creative! All creativity is repackaging things in seemingly "new" ways.
