Her first name was re-imagined to contemporize it and give it diverse appeal. There was no need to preserve the old, traditional name. There should be no comparison or criticism because this is a whole new name. It's nothing like the old name at all. In summary, the old name was replaced with a fictional name with no ties to romance whatsoever.

I will be boycotting this movie and I know lots of people who will do the same. Let it bomb at the box office and maybe Disney will consider reshooting all of Zegler’s scenes with someone else, make some changes that reflect more closely to the original animated movie and rerelease it to a massive success.
