Thanks a lot, I'm working on something like that and I noticed this parasitic inductance in discret port and wires, so I Did Pspice simulations with and without these elements, and that confirmed my doubt. THANKS a lot cause it is this kind of advices that we need about CST. Can you confirm me for wires PEC too please?

What is a D flip flop.
@jamessmith17754 жыл бұрын
A D flip flop is a piece of digital logic which stores a value for one clock cycle. I'll cover it more in detail in a later video!

Either type the name of the parameter when you create the model element, or click on the parameter list and start typing.

Could you provide an explanation on the difference between a finite state machine and an extended finite state machine?
@jamessmith17756 жыл бұрын
daniel Murphy - there's not a clearly defined difference. Typically a plain finite state machine has very simple logic and binary states but higher level ones can have some kind of memory, or produce some kind of arithmetic output. Different textbooks define this differently.

shama khan Ah okay. This varies from edition to edition. I think the default is on the bottom but I moved it to the side. If it's not there I'm not sure what to do - I don't have access to CST directly anymore, but I'd encourage you to reach out to CST support. They are excellent at providing help.

Please, can you make a STRIPLINE? Thank you
@jamessmith17756 жыл бұрын
Giovanni Nerone, I have only occasional access to CST these days as my job function has changed, but stripline is easy enough - make a board with copper above and below, then embed copper traces in the middle of the board. Parameterise everything!

I have many difficulties. If you have time, could you show me how it is done? I have to take an exam :(

I need the video because I have to do the stripline. I can not do it :(
@jamessmith17756 жыл бұрын
If you're able to reproduce the SIW as I've done in this video, and you understand what stripline is, you really should be able to adapt. I'm sorry - like I said, I likely won't be able to do another video like this anytime soon. Figuring it out for yourself will be a good learning experience though.

could u tell me how to simulate reconfigurable square ring antenna
@jamessmith17756 жыл бұрын
Hello Tharun, You should be able to pick up from the video how to operate CST in general. From there, you'd need to get a good understanding of your antenna geometry from the literature, and then build it in CST!

Hello Farid. I took a look, it looks good! I like your coding style, very clear and easy to read. Wasn't able to compile directly, looks as though you use MS Visual Studio, I don't run Windows and didn't have time to port it but I can take your word for it that it works. Good work.
