Hey! I have posted most of the videos on this project, you can view all the things I had to do, like make a whole in a firewall, extend wiring. The only episode I hasn't made was about the interior, as it is the last piece of the puzzle. Had to order some interior parts from Europ and reapholstered other parts to make it all look OEM. 👌 It's a fun project, I would make another one 😆

I don't use the torque wrench. It is plastic, so I would tighten it until the lip of the cartridge housing, touches the aluminum part of the engine.

Hello from Texas, USA. It will work. It does work on 'most' problem engines. I talked to the people at ATS in New Mexico, USA. They told me you can pour into engine and drive you vehicle for 15-20 minutes then change oil. the Fuel system cleaner works on 5-20 gallons of gas. I have no skin in this game, it works on "MOST" engines. Kuuul, Guten Tag!

They do work if your engine has sludge and carbon deposits in the crankcase and oil passages but obviously a single treatment won't fix a disaster it takes multiple uses if it is so bad or it might not even work if it has been neglected for so long. These are meant for mild to medium cases. Probably his problem isn't even related to sludge and carbon deposits in the engine it is most likely something that needs to be replaced not cleaned.

Sometimes these things have a cumulative effect. For all the problems to go away, multiple treatments would be required. But is better to know what all your problems are in the first place before trying less expensive solutions. Did you have the car checked out for a second opinion? Also, I think the reason for rise of temperatures is because it is the nature of these "extreme" cleaners to rinse away lubricants, and maybe metal was making contact in places. Which is another thing to consider, if your engine is already mostly free from carbon (and you seem like the kind of guy to make sure that is the case), a cleaner like this product would not solve many issues. I'm sure you understand it already, but it bears repeating for anyone reading the comments.
@tosyawilldoit9 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! it defiantly will help people. I haven't gone to any mechanics, I would need a specialized shop to look at it, and I don't have any close by. And that will be done when I'll be ready to start on this project, it just sits for now, waiting. And when I will become employed again :) But I did oil examination before doing this that showed a little bit more steel particles in the oil then normal, and bearing, cylinder lining does not contain a lot of steel, mostly copper and aluminum. so It has to be either lifters or camshafts... could be both. I don't know how long has the engine been making this noise before I got it.
@predcon19 ай бұрын
@@tosyawilldoit I know well about "happy surprises" from previous owners. So wait say you have full amount of oil do you just add the whole bottle to is anyway or doe the oil have to half way
@tosyawilldoit9 ай бұрын
I just added this bottle to the engine, I think it's save because oil is moving through the engine when running and it's amount will be shown less on a dipstick then if you check on a cold engine.

Interesting about the brake lines. Stainless steel may not be the best if you live in a place that salts the roads due to intergranular corrosion of the stainless steel with salt water. For a brake line, I would probably stick to regular steel if you live in a place that salts the roads. But it also depends on what kind of stainless steel you get (some stainless steel resists salt water better than others), anyways all the best on your projects!
