Hello from Texas, USA. It will work. It does work on 'most' problem engines. I talked to the people at ATS in New Mexico, USA. They told me you can pour into engine and drive you vehicle for 15-20 minutes then change oil. the Fuel system cleaner works on 5-20 gallons of gas. I have no skin in this game, it works on "MOST" engines. Kuuul, Guten Tag!

might take awhile! try also CRC intake cleaner. also thicker oil (lucas high mileage oil stabilizer, Rislone engine treatment, Rislone high mileage treatment). Some have success w Seaform also.

I've added 2 quarts of Lucas oil additive, it made it a bit more quiet, but still ticks. I guess have to replace the valve tappers.

Don't be too bummed out brother. You tried the 'Miracle in a Bottle' so you don't have to wonder if it would have worked later. Nice looking 996! At least you can drive it until you start the repair.

Thank you! I already ordered new lifters for the engine, after I found a good deal on them. but I am a little afraid to start that project.

Sometimes these things have a cumulative effect. For all the problems to go away, multiple treatments would be required. But is better to know what all your problems are in the first place before trying less expensive solutions. Did you have the car checked out for a second opinion? Also, I think the reason for rise of temperatures is because it is the nature of these "extreme" cleaners to rinse away lubricants, and maybe metal was making contact in places. Which is another thing to consider, if your engine is already mostly free from carbon (and you seem like the kind of guy to make sure that is the case), a cleaner like this product would not solve many issues. I'm sure you understand it already, but it bears repeating for anyone reading the comments.
@tosyawilldoit8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! it defiantly will help people. I haven't gone to any mechanics, I would need a specialized shop to look at it, and I don't have any close by. And that will be done when I'll be ready to start on this project, it just sits for now, waiting. And when I will become employed again :) But I did oil examination before doing this that showed a little bit more steel particles in the oil then normal, and bearing, cylinder lining does not contain a lot of steel, mostly copper and aluminum. so It has to be either lifters or camshafts... could be both. I don't know how long has the engine been making this noise before I got it.

@@tosyawilldoit I know well about "happy surprises" from previous owners. I used XADO grease to repair a transmission that had been overworn by a previous owner of a truck that thought "overdrive" was only for off road. She drove on the highway in 3rd gear the whole time. Anyway, good luck to you brother
@sofocle804 ай бұрын
If the engine is beating, it is a mechanical problem, nothing a can of juise can do for it. Money thrown on lots of oil, instead of investing in a good mechanic. Good thing you did a video, maby you saved some $$ from other peple searching for miracle in a bottle.

Would have been best if previous owners had made proper oil changes. At least I could help someone else with this video.
@gandhisFlipFlops4 ай бұрын
They do work if your engine has sludge and carbon deposits in the crankcase and oil passages but obviously a single treatment won't fix a disaster it takes multiple uses if it is so bad or it might not even work if it has been neglected for so long. These are meant for mild to medium cases. Probably his problem isn't even related to sludge and carbon deposits in the engine it is most likely something that needs to be replaced not cleaned.
@3dpooltile82921 күн бұрын
The product is proven to reduce carbon build up , not to replace actual parts. I've noticed that this video is nearly a year old. I hope that the actual repairs went well.

That doesn’t sound like a lifter. You may have more than a lifter problem.
@tosyawilldoit10 ай бұрын
I hope it is a lifter, but haven't had a time to work on this car and check inside each cylinder. After I got this car, I send the oil for testing, and got a good result back, with a little elevated numbers of steel.

Keep doing oil changes 100% synthetic oil. Mobil 1 eliminated ticks but yours sound slightly louder. Run engine a little then change again. Repeat repeat.

How many pounds of torque are you putting in the oil filter cannister?...
@tosyawilldoit7 күн бұрын
I don't use the torque wrench. It is plastic, so I would tighten it until the lip of the cartridge housing, touches the aluminum part of the engine.

So wait say you have full amount of oil do you just add the whole bottle to is anyway or doe the oil have to half way
@tosyawilldoit8 ай бұрын
I just added this bottle to the engine, I think it's save because oil is moving through the engine when running and it's amount will be shown less on a dipstick then if you check on a cold engine.
